Fixed my problem!
Communication was inconsistent with a 6' USB cable with a USB extension cable. The problem was fixed with a single 15' USB cable. Now it communicates positively all the time.

Once it's working, it'll get the job done 🤷🏻
I couldn't get the wifi function to work, so I had to buy a cable to connect the printer to my computer, now it's working- I think it's fine, gets the job done and is good for the price
