Genuine Original Soviet Russian gas mask GP-5 with black hose Surplus USSR face mask (Medium)

I purchased my mask mainly for costume purposes and a slight hiccup is having long hair. A good work around though is some sort of head wrap or a stocking cap liner which both can help you get it on without a lot of hair pull hassle. Keep in mind though that I would not suggest actually using this for a CBR situation with long hair and strongly recommend having short cut hair and a clean shaven face as you won't get a proper seal.The only negative I have to my mask is even after cleaning there's a few spots of discoloration that I can't seem to clean off. I'm not too worried about it, but sometimes when I see the spots I get this sorta "Yuck" feeling.

I really like this mask. Fits like a glove (really). The only complaint I have was that the lens were pretty dirty when I got it, but was easy to clean with some windex and a paper towel. I am also surprised at how well condition the mask and rubber hose are in for them being 40+ years old.

Covered with mold inside and out when I got it. But it did come with what was listed and once the mold is off it looks fantastic.

Absolutely what I wanted, excellent condition, all original. Just the way I like it.

I got all the other things it said that it included in excellent condition but it was missing the actual canister for the mask I get it has asbestos but it still would have been a cool collectors item
