SLC 5/03 & Panelview 550.
It worked perfectly for communicating with an SLC 5/03 and a PV 550. It was plug and play for my application. I assume that the drivers were already installed on my laptop via RSlinx, so I didn't have to use the supplied ones.

I connected to a SLC 5/03 with no issues. Later in the day connected again with no issues. Product works great!

I have only one negative comment about this product: the switch that one is suppose to access to switch between the two modes of operations is very difficult to reach. It touches the case and it is very hard to actually move it from one position to another. Small screw driver helps, but there is always the risk to damage the unit. Also, English only documentation and help files would be nice. When you read that you have to install driver from ... and there are string of Chinese signs ... not friendly at all. Functionality 5 stars, general presentation and documentation 3 stars = average 4 stars.

This adapter works very will for me. I use it in a VM on my MacBook with no problem.

Worked great. Good instructions. Worked with SLC503

Does not work
This is junk. Does not work. The 1st1 I tried had the switch fall off. The switch is recessed deep and is very tough to move. I cannot get this to work with a slc500 L20. I know the plc is good and a pic works with windows xp sp2

Not able to connect/go on-line with PLC
The connection problem might be due to the fact that the laptop was running windows 95. 'Haven't tried a more recent operating system.
