My 5 year old grandaughter has three older brothers who hoard their internet devices. Little Audrey plays with them when she can and always asks me for my phone when she visits. I almost cried when I saw her extreme joy at receiving her Tanoshi Computer for Kids for her fifth birthday and she excitedly exclaimed that "this is the best gift ever!" She plays and works with it every day and thank you Tanoshi for enabling me to make her so happy with such a wonderful and productive child's computer.

I Had to send this paperweight back once due to the internal buttons breaking and making the machine completely unusable. It happened within 90 days of purchase so I was able to deal directly with Amazon and they exchanged with no problems. Again, two months later, the power button broke which then made the screen start glitching. I tried contacting Tanoshi directly and they said I would have to ship the asset at my own expense only to see if it was even repairable. They could not guarantee a repair. It looks like they dont care to keep their customers happy. Very disappointing. And if that isn't enough reasons NOT to buy this product, I had to purchase a new keyboard because the tabs are very flimsy and if you move the screen back far enough, the tabs will break immediately. I contacted the manufacturer and I was able to buy a keyboard for $25 and pay $15 for shipping. Utterly ridiculous. I will now be purchasing an actual laptop for my daughter rather than a Samsung tablet with a keyboard attached.

The price is right for this device. Very useful and easy to set up.

My 10 year old loves her new laptop! And I especially love the super easy setup and parental controls. We’ve gone over how to properly care for her new device and we haven’t run into any issues. She removes the keyboard regularly and puts it back on without any issues. But she does so when the laptop is on a hard surface. I think this is best suited as a laptop for older kids, and a tablet with a protective cover for younger. So far I am extremely pleased!

The Tanoshi is a great machine.... on paper. It has a lot of great features including the tablet to laptop thing, parental controls, easy to use Android interface and everything else.... it's great.The only problem is it suffers from performance issues. It simply doesn't have the power to run even regular videos on web sites (such as typing.com) YouTube runs great (of course) but anything else will be buggy.It's also prone to random system crashes as well as the web browser suddenly crashing. I'm sure if it had more memory and a stronger cpu these issues would be fixed easily.

This is a great starter computer for my nine-year-old. She loves the touch screen but also is having fun getting this to writing her own emails. I appreciate the safety features such as being able to locate where she is, what activities she's been doing that day, and specifying how much time she can spend on the computer each day. Overall, great product!

This is an excellent item for a preteen. Our 9 year old daughter was too young for a laptop but was too advanced for the child type computer electronics. This was perfect for the next step in computer access and responsibility. Are 13 year old son enjoyed it so much that we bought him one for his birthday. We have been equally as happy with his purchase.
