Fantastic monitor, super cheap. Don't be put off by the 2560 x 1080 display.
Great monitor.Although many would complain about the 2560 x 1080 display, i've found it to be more than defined when sitting as close as 30cm away for essay work. The screen split software is fantastic and within reason I can switch between 2 to 3 splits on this display depending on the use.It is not height adjustable but it does mount your dual display ports, dual hdmi, audio, power and even VGA (for those of you before the war) in the stand so you don't see your cables. The power brick though is big... and annoying for placement and I would have rather they made the stand larger or longer and integrated it inside. As for benchmarks, most would say you'd need atleast a 970/1070 for this display, but i'm currently running mad max at 65fps on a GTX 960 and high settings. Racing games might lag for literally 1 seconds every 40 minutes, but its nothing in all honesty. So don't worry so much if you fancy a 21:9 curved display but are on a budget GPU wise. The only reason this didn't get 4 stars is simply AOC themselves... the price on this monitor increased by £5 the day of purchase, after it had sat in my basket for 48hrs. Once i purchased, within 12 hrs it reduced by £15. I believe personally, they are constantly changing the price on this thing, which is wrong by all means. It shouldn't fluctuate by £20 in less than a week. Naughty AOC.

For a curved gaming monitor, can't beat it for the price.
Picked one up for £423 on here.Great monitor for the price. It's only 1080 and there's a slight loss of picture sharpness if your used to 24" 1080 (the scaling is the same as 1080 at 27"), but games still look great and the upside is you don't need a beefy GPU to run it, a 970 does fine. Being VA the colours are excellent and so is picture uniformity and viewing angles. Unlike IPS panels there's no backlight glow either, so blacks are actually black. The downside to being VA though is there is some degree of "black crush", but turning overdrive up to max almost eliminates it. Response times are also good with no noticeable input lag.

Love the monitor it is absolutely fantastic and at 160hz ...
Love the monitor it is absolutely fantastic and at 160hz it is fantastic no screen tearing and is the motion is flawless. There is one bad thing about the monitor and that is the buttons they are a s*** design and don't work properly. So the bottom line is if you want a resonably priced 160hz ultra wide monitor that once a week is going to take you 10 attempts to switch on. Get it. It is a great monitor but the buttons are s***.
