LEFT/RIGHT HAND DRIVE HEADLAMP CONVERTERS + GB PLATE + FREE TRAVEL GUIDE

Like other reviewers here, it had been raining. I thoroughly dried the headlights and applied the converters to my car's headlights as directed. This was straightforward. I checked the deflectors (about two hours later after driving 120 miles), the driver's side converter had fallen off. Clearly, the adhesive used was not up to the job, but there's nothing you can do by then! The other deflector stayed stuck. When I went to remove the adhesive from both headlights, it was a hard job! So my advice is: Pick another product.

Only went to France for two days, and when I went to remove the filters on the ferry back - half my job had been done - One had come off completely; just leaving the adhesive (glad I was not stopped by the French police).I said half my job had been done - well perhaps not! The adhesive was very difficult to remove from the headlamp lens even with alcohol based screen wash. I only wish it stuck to the converters as well as it did to the head lamp.

The product was very disappointing. Both silver spots which had to be positioned first to allow accurate placing of the plastic converters failed to adhere! Struggling with the paper to position the converters while making sure that the convert did not stick to the paper as it was needed for the other headlight was interesting to say the least. Finally to add insult to injury in spite of following all the instructions about warming the lamp glass the converters themselves failed to adhere at the top and I spent the trip checking they were still in place after each leg of the journey. When the time came to remove the converters one came off and left no sign of any glue at all!

These converters are based on prismatic bending. Better than those that block parts of the beam. Always a compromise but the best we can do to stay legal. Instructions are easy to follow. They were easy to remove on return and removed remaining adhesive using WD40.Didn't use the GB sticker so cannot comment on it.

The so called travel guide that's advertised to include info for 40 countries was 1 printed A4 sheet with a table indictating whether it's compulsory to have a valid licence, to wear seatbelts, have motor insurance, the minimum driving age etc...for 10 countries, one of which is the UK! Haven't tried the headlamp converters yet so can't comment on whether they stick or not, (other reviews complained that they don't).

it last one day and it disappear from the head light and left behind plenty of glue. not recommended, a waste of money

Did the job but one came off in heavy rain after about a week.

I have used these deflectors twice. First time, I was not careful enough to set them horizontally and the effect was OK rather than great. However, I was able to clean off the adhesive and use them again on a second trip. When set truly horizontal, they worked well. I used Studio Gum adhesive to attach them on the second trip. They held on perfectly during a 2-week trip to Italy which included torrential rain.
