My lifelong dream since I was a young girl, was to grow up and be just as beautiful as Ariel and her sisters..... Mermaids always seem to have amazing, flowing hair, silky and shining bright!! Well, I had one thing already. My hair is red, but Ive always called it Auburn caramel! I grew to appreciate my long red hair the older I got and right before my eyes, I started to see it change!! My hair was not as vibrant and shiny as it used to be!! The red/Auburn that I grew to love was lacking something and I wanted it back!!Now, I've used a different brand shower filter for the last 6 years and have always felt like I'd never need to look for a newer model since I was happy and content with it. Until I came across mermosis on an accident. I was immediately intrigued by the name and description and soon I was installing it in my home with excitement! Now, I am naturally more sensitive and my skin needs extra care. Also, my son has eczema and benefits from a filter. I just have to come out.and say it already... I LoVe this FILTER!!!!! The very first time u showered with this filter it was heavenly!!! I got out of the shower feeling so refreshed and clean and almost forgot that I didn't put lotion on! But I didn't feel the extra dryness that I usually do!! Most of all, my hair is Beautiful!!!! Full of life and shine and I almost feel like my hair has hit a reset button and I'm in love! I Manage a hair salon and I have already been recommending this filter to EVERY ONE!!! WoW!!! What a difference! Thank you! I really needed this in my life and will continue to let the world in on my Lil secret life as a mermaid!! Game Changer!

This is a fantastic product. I've just finished the first cartridge, which lasted about 5 weeks for us (averaging ~25 minutes in shower time per day for our family). In one month I've seen the following changes:* my hair is softer and less frizzy; I have long hair and even the ends don't feel so dry* my skin isn't tight and itchy when I get out of the shower* I had red cheeks as well as redness on my neck and chest, which my dermatologist attributed to permanent sun damage. People were always commenting on how I must have just gotten some sun; I looked like I had a recent sunburn. It's gone. No redness at all. And incidentally my niece had the same experience.....no more red skin.* I had eczema that nothing seemed to help. It's gone. Completely gone.* Callouses I had on my feet that I attributed to daily wear and tear are nearly gone. Without any kind of exfoliation or lotions.* I won't swear to this one but I even think the tiny lines on my face are much less visible, and I haven't changed anything else about my cleansing or moisturizing routine, except to always use filtered water to wash my face. I don't think there's any magical wrinkle repair; I just think my skin is a lot less dry.I'm telling friends and family about my experience, and my sister installed one of these filters in her house as well. She too noticed a big change in how her hair and skin felt from the first shower. i hardly ever write reviews even when I like something. But this has had such a significant impact on my health that I really wanted to write this one. I highly recommend it

I have very hard water, and I came to realize that it may be why my hair has been so unmanageable as of late. I saw this and decided "why not?". It hasn't given me my "Best Hair (ever!) - Biggest Body, Shiniest Shine, No More Frizz, No More Tangles"... I really hadn't expected such an incredible change... But my hair has been less tangled and doesn't seem to be quite as greasy.

Okay, first the good news. This little filter really works! I couldn't wait to try it so my husband installed it in all of 3 minutes & I jumped in. It is wonderful, I've never felt water like this. I could actually run my fingers through my hair & it's soft & shiny. It is fabulous. And my skin felt softer & less dry immediately. I love this filter & will recommend it to anyone. How have I been living all these years with dry, itchy skin & frizzy hair? How I wish I would've had this years ago. So the bad news was the packaging which was bad, very bad. It came in a large bubble envelope just flopping around in there with nothing to cushion it. The box was open at both ends when I opened the envelope & the box was old & dog-eared, not a new box. The filter itself was in what appeared to be a used baggie. When I saw it I was worried I'd been ripped off. You know, first impressions & all. So for the filter itself - 5 stars. Packaging - 2 stars.

I could not be happier. I suffer from itchy flaky scalp and ears. I’ve tried antidandruff & antifungal shampoos. I’ve bought paraban free sulfate free additive free. I’ve bought top of the line expensive salon brand shampoos with all natural botanicals and oils. I’ve tried lemons and apple cider vinegar and tea tree oils and coconut oils. NOTHING works like this: it was so easy to install too. My hair is soft and bouncy and clean, my skin is glowing and the slime feeling I didn’t even know existed really is gone. This after just 1 shower. Very pleased too that it came with 2 filters. I will never go without a shower filter again, and this one is fantastic for the price.

After finding out our tap water had chlorine, harmful chemicals, heavy metals, minerals and other impurities that can negatively affect our hair and skin, I decided to shop around for a shower filter that would at least minimize some of these concerns. Sterling Hills Shower Filter system was fairly easy and fast to install! It gave me the peace of mind, knowing our water would be rid of some of these harmful impurities. It came with instructions that are easy to follow and you don't have to have any special skills to install it. This filter is exactly what I needed. It takes out the chlorine, harsh chemicals, metals and anything that irritates skin. I would recommend this filter to everyone. Even if you don't have a skin condition, hard water has an effect on your skin, hair and breathing. I am very happy with this filter!
