Florist wires are most commonly used to create the stems of sugarflowers but can also be used to create and mount cake decorations. The wires come in a variety of gauges (thickness). The higher the gauge number the thinner the wire - for example a 16 gauge wire is the thickest in width and a 32 gauge is the thinnest. All of the green florist wires are 36cm long.

Great for large floral arrangements.
Used in complex floral arrangements to hold the heavier parts together. The colour blended well with the green foliage and the wire was not too stiff and not too bendy. Will use again.

Good product
This is fine. It’s quite a thick gauge so not that easy to bend, but I wanted it to make a stem for a paper flower. For general floristry work I would go for a thinner gauge.
