The duvet cover is a pocket design. The bottom end is open and the sides are sewn in about 10 inches on either side to prevent the duvet from sliding out. There are also two slit sewn into the duvet on either side to allow you to reach into the cover and Pull the duvet through. Very easy and convenient to remove and replace. No hard buttons to mess with or zippers to worry about. Very simple and elegant.
