It's not anywhere near being "extra large". It's quite small actually. It's about 1.5 feet wide and about a foot deep. U can only fit one large plate and maybe a cup.It's very beautiful though. The wood looks and feels really good.

First of all quality of this tray is amazing. Premium feel and look at first sight. It is large enough to keep 4 cups and 1 plate. It is made of solid wood so it’s little bit heavy. It adds very beautiful look to dinning table and kitchen.

The advertised size of 15 x 10 inches represents the outer dimensions of the thick wood tray. The 3-inch height is to the tops of the two handles while the tray itself is 2-inches deep (on the outside). The inside tray size is 14 x 9 inches cross-wise, but since the four corners are angled the remaining rectangular tray area is only 11 x 9 inches. So this is not a "large tray" as advertised but a small tray - one that is too small to accommodate a dinner plate. It will hold two teacup saucers but not three. It will hold a teapot plus one saucer.
