This is the BEST feeder I've ever had ! Shipping was prompt. I only had to take my old one down, and the hummers immediately began using the new one. It's obviously made with care, and is very sturdy. The beautifully simple screw off top makes cleaning so much easier than some of the fancy ones with lots of nooks and crannies. The hook screws firmly into the top. And for a nice touch, the feeder comes with a small bristle cleaning brush. I actually drilled a third hole in the top, and painted yellow petals around all three holes - for a bit more action ! I may have to get a couple more of these feeders - I'm happy, and more importantly, so are the hummers !

I just ordered my 2nd Healthy Hummingbird feeder. These DO NOT leak. I have 3 other feeders that continuously leak during warm weather, and are extremely tedious to clean. This feeder cleans in a snap. It's small, which means that changing the liquid daily in very hot weather does not result in wasting large quantities of the prepared nectar.Keeping the liquid level low prevents bees from feeding. I also have a small cup filled with water suspended over this feeder, which keeps out the ants.This design really solves the major problems with hummingbird feeders, but too bad it doesn't have perches for the birds. There are other feeders designed similarly to this one, with perches, but they take so much liquid (12 oz.) that they're not practical to use. The manufacturer needs to keep this perfect size, but add a little perch.

We had a few Hummingbirds visiting our flowers in the backyard and my kids would get so excited when we happened to catch a glimpse. So I decided to buy a feeder to further attract them. I got an expensive one that looked fancy with fake plastic flowers for them to drink from. The result was ants, bees, mold, and a big mess. And also, no hummingbirds. So I did a little research, and I ended up with this feeder. The result: No bees, no ants, no mold. Lots of hummingbirds.This feeder isn't fancy, it just works. It is easy to clean and keep fresh nectar available to the Hummingbirds even in the hottest months here in the deep south.We added a couple more of these feeders and now have Hummingbirds near constantly hovering around and chirping. My son says they make him feel happy, because we are keeping them healthy. That is priceless.

Received my item today and there is no hook to hang it with. I have no way to hang it so I just bought a bowl with a lid with holes in it.Update: Seller made this right. Things happen sometimes but they really stepped up. Thanks!

This is everything it says--incredibly easy to clean, healthier for hummingbirds, bee resistant. I love it. But I have noticed that only a few hummingbirds can figure it out. If we have 10-12 hummingbirds who visit our garden (and it's 6 different feeders) about 2-3 will use it. Others will hover and tap their beaks to it, but never insert their beaks into the 2 holes. Maybe if they didn't have easier options nearby they'd eventually "get it". Really I love everything about this feeder but I only wish more birds at my house actually enjoyed it.

I bought 20+ feeders to donate to a Hummingbird researcher in Massachusetts. Each feeder easily hold a two to three day supply of sugar solution. Its enough for a Ruby Throated Hummingbird and her offspring. And more than enough to keep a feisty and territorial male RTHU. Clean feeders are vital to RTHU health.Hanging two or three of these small feeders is better than hanging one big feeder. Incessantly competing for a place to drink is stressful for hummingbirds. Then there is the number of hummingbird tongue licks it takes to keep them going for 15 minutes. Picture this; each tongue is flicked into the feeder 15 to 20 times per second, feeding 6, maybe even 20 or more seconds at a time...... repeated every 15 minutes. That's one bird. Microbes and bacteria washing off their tongue with every stroke.This feeder is super easy to clean and the perfect size.

BEE RESISTANT! IT IS NOT. IT HAS BEEN OUT THERE 3 DAYS AND IT IS FULL OF BEES. AND YOU WON'T TAKE YOUR PRODUCT BACK THAT IS POOR BUSINESS! IT IS FALSE ADVERTISING!

I think this is a great design. I simply love this hummingbird feeder. We have not had a single bee or a wasp, but plenty of hummingbirds. Not only is cleaning and filling the unit extremely simple, I’ve also noticed less spilling and waste than my previous feeders. I plan on getting more!
