Bridge Party Tablecloth

This pandemic has been a great time to brush up on card games. I grew up seeing my parents play bridge, but never mastered it myself, this seems like the perfect time to learn. Mom and Dad had one of these clever tabletop cloths to help me on the nights I tried to play with them. I looked and looked for it in with other tablecloths I inherited from my mom, to no avail. So I was DELIGHTED to see that these still are available for both novice and aspiring bridge players.WIsh me luck!

After learning the bridge basics, I found this tablecloth extremely helpful at bridge parties. It's a useful tool for knowing how to bid or how to respond to your bridge partner's bid. I like the layout of the information as well, very clear and logical.However, the table cloth itself is tiny, would barely function on a small card table. I wish that it came in a larger size and in nicer material.An alternative is the set of placemats with similiar information. The information isn't laid out as well, but the mats are more functional and less expensive (I believe).

I bought the table cloths for gifts - everyone loved them. Allows people just learning the game to participate, understand the bid process and how to score the game. dddddAll of the recipients have asked me where it got them.

The face of the table cloth is exactly what I was looking for. However, I was disappointed to find that there is no backing to prevent thecloth from sliding off the table. I had to tape it down.Rita Swenson

This is a really good item for folks just learning to play bridge. It is clearly printed and accurate and has the commonly accepted rules so you can avoid wanting to kill your partner who forgot them..

Tips right in front of you, help remind you and your partner about bidding. A good tool for the beginner. I used one of these 50 years ago when I was first learning bridge and I am glad they are still available.

The quality of the fabric was not as sturdy as the one my friend ordered. Also, the information was a bit dated. I have been taking bridge lessons and a lot has changed in bidding in the last number of years which the tablecloth does not reflect.
