This is my first fish sonar and it turned out to be simple to use. Taking note that I need a WiFi connection to the sonar, I made sure my phone was above the height of the sonar to ensure a good connection and all worked well. It is a bit heavy, I used a medium heavy action rod to cast it with and it seemed a bit too much for it. If I continue to cast it, I will definitely get a heavier rod. Otherwise, I am happy with it, actually had it out on the raft over the weekend, the sonar found a school of fish and on my third cast I reeled in a pound and a half largemouth bass.
