Roman at Home Round Wood Folding Laundry Basket

I got this to replace a similar one we have had for years, that we got from a charity shop. Our old one had got a bit tatty looking. Although this looked similar, the wood legs are quite thin and the whole thing quite flimsy. There is a piece of wood inside the top flap, which broke easily. It didn't smell nice and I ended up washing the bag. I ended up binning it and giving the legs to other half to chop up for firewood. There are much better ones - unfortunately they cost a lot more. It's not that bad, but I doubt it will last long. Decided to give our old one a coat of varnish instead.

Very disappointed. This was the Amazon featured choice and selling at a good price. But the material of the laundry bag was a tacky yellow colour (not stone or cream). The material didn't seem like cotton or canvas (more like that strange thin machine-imprinted material used in disposable knickers). The label says that the bag is removable (but as there are no buttons or velcro you would have to unpick the stitches.) The wooden X frame is held together with a screw not a bolt, so I can't believe that it would be sturdy. The wooden frame itself wasnt bad. From the dimensions, I think there are a lot of these identical laundry baskets on Amazon and the rest of the internet. If anyone has found a good, big, x-frame laundry basket, with a proper cotton or canvas lining, that will take lots of family washing, please let me know. I can usually find what I need on Amazon, but in this case I am considering building and sewing my own!

Great product for the price.

No set up needed. Good value. Does what it says it does for a good price.Nothing else to say!

This is perfect in my laundry room. I looked at quite a few before deciding on this one, and I preferred it because of the fabric "lid" which means you don't have the dirty laundry looking at you. Seems sturdy enough, and has a hard loose inside base, covered in the same fabric, which holds the whole basket in shape.

An improvement on the last model.The cover is an excellent added feature. Light yet sturdy.

Well-built, solid, and the fabric on top is a very nice touch. Excellent product, much better than a similar one we had in the past that was made of thinner wood and broke very quickly.

This is a great product for the price. Although it doesnt take up much space is holds a lot laundry and is easily moved around. Smart to look at, nothing to snag your tights and the fold over lid completes a nice 'natural' look.
