JCP Upvc Door Weather Drip Bar Rain Water Deflector Strip 850mm Click Fit (White)

Got these for a pair of patio doors that leaked in heavy rain. They open inwards so they butt against the profile on the outdoors side and when closed if water pours down the glass doors it can leak in through the seals.These drip strips are great. They come with 5 specially designed screws which you screw directly into the uPVC door and then slide the drip strip onto them. Good tight fit. Its been pouring this past few days and I've had no more leaks.They don't make a tighter seal - what they do is deflect the torrent of water out over the lip of the doorframe profile so it doesn't get into the seal in the first place.Make sure your screws are in an absolutely 100% straight line otherwise you won't be able to slide the profile all the way on. Also when cutting the strips to the correct size for the width of the door, don't make them too tight a fit otherwise they'll catch on the doorframe, and don't forget to allow the thickness of a saw blade for the end-caps.

After buying several of these from a major diy store and having to return them because of quality or size I am really pleased with this product - easy to fit and matches my door perfectly - at last the rain is no longer flooding my porch!

I am really pleased with this product. It was delivered quickly and was easy to install. It now looks like it was always part of the door. The only thing to note is that though it is a snug fit with the door frame, I still applied a thin layer of silicone sealant on top of the strip to prevent water running at the back of the strip hence why the adhesion rating is only 4 stars.

Bought this for the back door. Just what we needed. Cut to size, easy to install and looks really neat.

Good value .simple installation..only issue is that the bar is not quite wide enough to divert all the rain water from front door although a lot better than before i fitted it.

Not quite sure what happened to the last drip bar, as I'm sure the door didn't always leak. But this was a great replacement once we stopped blaming the elderly dog and worked out where the water was coming from. Didn't have to drill the holes or fit screws as they were already in place, but this was easy to cut and slide into place.

this door drip is very easy to fit and does a first class job. I bought it for the inside of a wet room door in order to deflect the show water.
