Product description A partial artificial nail made of GEHWOL Nail Compound can be produced easily and without a costly plaster model. The elastic, breathable material protects the nail bed from mechanical damage. It also incorporates a disinfectant to prevent inflammation and further fungal infection. GEHWOL Nail Compound produces a cosmetically perfect and visually "normal" nail that grows with the natural nail and can be cut, filed, cared for and varnished as required. Replacing missing nail parts helps to prevent deformities of the nail bed or toenail and stabilise the residual nail. This helps to avoid subsequent damage, such as growth disorders caused by the protruding distal nail wall or hard skin on the nail bed. The nail can grow on unhindered. Follow-up treatment: To protect the parts of the nail not covered in nail compound from fungal infection, the daily application of GEHWOL med Protective Nail and Skin Cream or Skin Oil is recommended. Nail Treatment & Repair
I have just started using this after having a bad fungal fingernail infection which resulted in losing most of my nails. I’ve actually been able to leave them uncovered for the first time. This basically just covers the whole or part of missing nail and lets it heal and protects it a little. Still need to be careful but it’s nice not having to wear plasters or bandages to protect my nails. Just hope it carries on with the healing and repair. Very impressed so far. It’s not a glue.

Forget the description...
This is clear nail polish without a brush - just a nozzle - so it’s almost impossible to apply evenly. I was surprised because I thought it best to keep the nails free of anything which would not allow them to ‘breathe’There were no instructions. I would definitely not recommend it

not as good as expected
I got this because I have no nail on one finger. It does cover the missing nail well but only stays on for a day. Also it goes on in a pink colour so looks very odd if you don't add a varnish.

lnstructions in German
The product l ordered arrived very quickly.. But unfortunately all the instructions are in a foreign language which l can't understand. I believe its from Germany. So unless you speak the language it will be of no use to you. The 3 stars are for prompt delivery.
