I am so happy with my purchase. This is my first reel mower. It's light weight, cuts great and low maintenance! I don't have to worry about filling it up with gas, changing the oil or charging a battery. I can cut my grass as early or late as I want without disturbing my neighbors.

Easy, it"s like taking a walking behind a cart. If you can walk, you will be able to use this. I love this mower. Wished I bought one years ago instead of the gas power one that was too hard for me to start. Great exercise that comes with a reward of freshly cut grass. Also easy to put together.

American made, easy to put together, and works great. You have to walk fast, just like it says.

Purchased a returned version of this mower for the price drop, and it had a few minor problems. It arrived with missing C-clips that hold the handlebar assembly to the wheel/blade mower, and slight wear marks on the blades and wheels. Fortunately, C-clips were under a dollar at the local hardware store. After adjusting the blade tolerance screws, it mowed easily and quietly. Not that I'd want too, but I could mow in the middle of the night and my neighbors would never know. There are tight crevices for grass debris to hide, so using an air compressor is best to clean it. It is light enough to position, with just enough weight to push through grass. It came with a sharpening kit and instruction booklet that shows how to disassemble the blade turnstile from the frame. All in all, I'm fairly satisfied with the mower.

Gets the job done but it doesn’t cut certain kinds of grass. I still have to pay a lawn service to get my lawn looking good.

Mowing the lawn is an annoying chore. After years of paying a service to take care of our yard, we can no longer justify the cost, and are reengaging with our lawn care needs. We needed to reacquire a mower that we had gotten rid of when we got the service. I took a chance on this push mower and even though I've only used it once, I'm totally sold. Here's what I like better about it: 1) It's small - space in our garage and shed is at a premium. Electric and gas motorized versions are way larger, and cumbersome. This is small enough to hang on the wall, without being so light as to seem chintzy or dinky. 2) It doesn't need anything. It doesn't need charging, it doesn't need gas or oil, it just needs sharpening now and then, and it comes with the kit. I haven't done that, so when it becomes necessary, if warranted I will update this review. 3) It WORKS! You have to move at a swifter than pokey clip, but it slices through the grass like a hot knife through warm butter. I was unprepared for how satisfying it was. It makes a nice SSSSSSSsss sound as it goes (unlike motorized versions), and it didn't have difficulty with the few small sticks in my yard that I didn't bother to pick up as other reviews suggested. It went over them without jamming up or even cutting them. If anything doesn't stick up far enough, it doesn't get in the blades. 4) It's fast. When you have to haul our the rig, get gas and oil in it, get it primed up and actually started (my old gas mower was a bear to get actually started), it makes the whole process of mowing a hassle and take too much time. This was done so fast. The only down side is that it leaves the grass as it lies. You can rake it if needed, but it's a little messy. Then again, it's a hassle pulling the bag off of the other kind of mower and dumping it. So as long as the lawn doesn't get overwhelmed with the clippings, I'm okay with this. Overall I'm sold. I'm so glad I got this. I never hear of anyone using these, but I no longer understand why.

Super easy to use and very light weight gets the job done

I needed a mower that could cut Bermuda grass to ½ inch for my golf chipping areas in the yard. This mower adjusts easily to the lowest setting and glides smoothly through the grass. If small sticks get stuck in the blades, I just spin the reels backward to remove them. It's quiet, lightweight, and easy to store thanks to the removable handles. Cheers!!!!
