Tere Naam: Bollywood Feature Film [DVD]

A rowdy boy falls for a sweet, innocent daughter of a priest and goes to the full extent of human powers to redeem himself out of love. But unfortunately, they didn't live happily ever after..This is a heartbreaking movie, maybe the best performance ever by Salman Khan. I simply couldn't watch in certain moments when the drama reached its climax, the performance by all the actors and the visual effects were so realistic.The DVD is new and technically very good, extras include just the movie songs and the launch of new items by the producers, but since the price is really affordable there's nothing to complain about, I'm more than satisfied. Tere Naam shocked Bollywood fans on it's release as it certainly isn't your usual happy family film. The story is about the doomed relationship between an innocent girl and a young man who has gone off-the-rails. Their relationship inevitably goes wrong Romeo and Juliet-style. Salman Khan plays the lead and although I'm not a fan, he does play this part very well. The innocent young girl is played by newcomer Bhoomika Chawla who should have a glittering career in front of her if this performance is anything to go by. The film is well-directed and the excellent musical numbers do liven things up considerably.

I first saw the film Tere Naam on Indian television. I am a white, British national and can not speak or understand Hindi. However, watching this film even though I could not understand the language I found the story easy to follow and was very moved by the acting in it.I was able to find the film Tere Naam on Amazon and was even more delighted that it had English sub-titles.This film has everything in it and is a very intense love story. I found the acting of the characters excellent and was deeply moved by the story line.

Very interesting film with excellent direction and acting. The actors have done justice to their respective roles, the songs and music are fabulous but I was very upset at the sad ending of the film. Will definitely recommend this film to anyone and for me it will be an all time Bollywood favourite.

I've seen this film more than 10 times. The songs are superb. Salman khan's on his best performance.
