The Sesame Street Pet Show: Featuring Jim Henson's Sesame Street Muppets

While the book arrived quickly and in excellent (new) condition, it wasn't exactly what I expected. What's pictured is the original, matte finish book that I had when I was younger. When you'd open them, inside would be pictures of various Sesame Street characters. What actually arrived was bright pink trimmed, with a pink cover lining. I read these as a child and looked forward to giving my favorites to my son to enjoy. Wish, as silly as this sounds, that I'd received what is shown, even if it means it is used and dog eared. If you're looking for new books, this is a great buy!

This was one of the first books I ever read as a child over 34 years ago. I was thrilled to see that this book was still being sold after all this time because I just had my 1st Child last month and we are already building his book collection. This book arrived today in wonderful condition and I am more than satisfied. I look forward to ordering more rare books from this company. Thank You!!

It's a wonderful children's story that will undoubtedly captivate your child's imagination, but there's a gray area as to how we define the pets vs. the pet owners. Big Bird is a bird, yet has a pet of his own. In real life Big Bird would be someone else's pet, if not for his ability to otherwise function as a human. I find it best to ignore these subtleties and just enjoy the story for what it is.

I had this book, when I was a child, and now read it to my daughter. Excellent story.
