I was hoping for a simple pale/light yellow to go under a dress and possibly to wear alone as a lightweight skirt- but was very disappointed. It felt very cheap and stiff, was very scratchy and the colour was almost a neon yellow on the edge of having a green tint... I guess if you were trying to match a highlighter marker it would work? It was so coarse that you could see the wrinkles through a layer of cotton. I wanted something to wear with real clothing, not as a fancy dress costume. Thankfully the return was easy.

Had to have one of these as part of the costume for a performance. Exactly as described but not flattering for us larger ladies as very 'boofey' and made me feel like one of the old crochet crinoline loo roll cover dolls my nan used to have. There was also a separate piece of ribbon to act as a tie but no loops to hold it so it kept sliding up independently. Beautiful for smaller sizes I'd imagine.
