Okay, so math has never been my thing, but I decided it was time to stop avoiding it and actually try to learn. The main book is super chill and explains everything in a way that actually makes sense. No confusing jargon—just clear, simple language with examples that feel like they were made for real people (aka, people like us who might not be math geniuses). If you’re like me and math gives you that “ugh, not again” feeling, this book is like having a patient friend who explains things until you get it.

This book has worked well for my 8th grader. Her math skills are improving. A lot of math how to- some workbook pages. Better than workbooks that fail to show student how to work out math problems. Great book for students preparing to go to high school.
