Incredible health insights in a sleek, comfortable design!
I’ve been using the Ultrahuman Ring Air for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. It’s lightweight, super comfortable (I barely notice it’s there), and the build quality feels premium. What really sets it apart, though, is the depth of insights it gives me. The sleep tracking is spot-on, and the recovery and movement metrics have actually helped me make better choices day-to-day. The app is beautifully designed and easy to understand — it doesn’t just throw data at you, it interprets it in a way that feels actionable. Battery life has been great too; I’m getting almost a week per charge with regular use. I’ve used other fitness rings before, but the Ultrahuman Ring Air feels like a step up — both in comfort and in the quality of feedback. It’s stylish enough to wear all the time, and it’s genuinely motivated me to be more mindful about my health. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade their wellness tracking without compromising on style or comfort!

Great idea, badly implemented and let down by poor quality control and battery technology
When it worked, it was great, but the battery performance falls off very quickly, and one it does, support is frustrating and tedious. My first one ran fine for about 6 months, and then dropped from 4-5 days of battery life to needing to be charged twice a day in the space of about 6 weeks. The only support was accessible through the app, but insisted on repeated updates of firmware and factory resets with the instruction to "monitor it for 48 hours and come back to us" - this process ran for weeks before I lost my patience and insisted on a replacement. The replacement similarly dropped off in battery performance (and also suffered connection issues, regularly losing all data for several days at a time). Support was once again tedious and frustrating, and an update to the app format has made the support chat less straightforward to access. I'm now told (after multiple factory resets etc) that I'm out of my warranty period, and not elegible for a replacement - despite the app's support tool telling me that I'm eligible for a replacement - although as a goodwill gesture they are prepared to send me a certified refurbished ring. I haven't yet decided whether to accept, as I have already swapped to using an arm-worn tracker instead. The app isn't as slick and the insights aren't as helpful, but at least it stays charged for over a week and retains its connection to the app.

Finally a wearable that does what I actually want — without the subscription trap
Over the years I’ve tried Withings, Fitbit, the Google Pixel Watch, and various cheaper off-brand “smart” watches. While some of them do impressive things, I’ve consistently been disappointed — mainly due to poor battery life, awkward small screens for basic tasks, and constant notifications that become more annoying than useful (assuming the battery hasn’t died first). This time, I wanted something simple and unassuming. Something that tracked my steps, sleep, and fitness metrics properly. No mandatory monthly subscription. No distraction on my wrist. Just useful insight. I’d been looking at smart rings for a while. Oura was the obvious comparison — it looks great — but the ongoing subscription cost and the patent disputes in the US put me off. Then I discovered Ultrahuman. Low barrier to entry The ring sizing kit cost me 10p (or I could have 3D printed one using files from their website). That immediately impressed me. By comparison, Oura charges around £10 for their sizing kit and only refunds it if you go on to buy the ring. Ultrahuman made the entry point incredibly accessible. The reviews were strong, battery life looked reasonable (4–6 days), and the app screenshots looked genuinely useful. Setup & first impressions I purchased the Ring AIR (size 11, brushed titanium) along with the Ultrahuman Ring Voyager charger for faster charging. Everything arrived promptly, and I was set up within minutes. The ring immediately told me it would take around 14 days to fully calibrate to my baseline metrics, but useful data started appearing within the first hour — even in “Chill Mode” (a battery optimisation mode that extends life further). For peace of mind, I also opted for Ultrahuman X (~£50 for 2 years), which covers accidental loss/damage. I know I specifically didn’t want a subscription model, but for an expensive device like this, that felt reasonable and optional. Battery life & comfort The ring is extremely comfortable — I often forget I’m wearing it. Battery life is around 4 days for me, and likely could stretch further. Charging with the Voyager dock is quick and painless — comfortably back to full within two hours. The app experience The app is genuinely impressive — and completely free. There’s a lot of data, which can feel slightly overwhelming at first, but Ultrahuman does an excellent job explaining what each metric means. The longer you use it, the more insightful the reporting becomes (weekly summaries are particularly useful). The app also includes “PowerPlugs” — optional add-ons that extend functionality. Many are free (e.g. Caffeine Window), while some are paid. For example, UltraSync for Tesla provides things like Drive Readiness Score and Drive Stress tracking. I was initially wary that this might be the “hidden subscription model” — but there are far more free PowerPlugs than paid ones, and the core functionality is more than sufficient for most users. It feels optional rather than restrictive, which is the right balance. There are also links within the app to Ultrahuman’s other products (Metabolism, Home, Vision). I was slightly concerned these might feel like constant upsells, but they’re unobtrusive. No annoying ads, no aggressive prompts — and if you owned those products, having everything within one app would actually be preferable to juggling multiple apps. Overall I’m genuinely impressed with the Ultrahuman Ring AIR. It’s comfortable, provides meaningful and well-presented insights, has solid battery life, and - importantly - doesn’t lock core functionality behind a mandatory subscription. It does exactly what I wanted: simple, smart health tracking without the noise. Highly recommended. Five stars from me.

Impressive Smart Ring with Great Health Tracking and No Subscription Fees
The Ultrahuman Ring AIR is a sleek, lightweight, and comfortable smart ring that provides detailed health and sleep tracking without any monthly subscription fees. It’s easy to wear all day and night and feels far less intrusive than a smartwatch. The sleep and recovery insights are especially useful and have already encouraged me to improve my sleep habits, giving me much-needed peace of mind about my health. Battery life is solid, lasting several days on a single charge, and the app provides plenty of useful data and recommendations, although the interface could be more user-friendly. Some metrics can occasionally feel slightly inconsistent compared to dedicated fitness devices, and the price is quite premium, but overall it’s an impressive and feature-packed health tracker.

Game-Changing for Biohackers, Fitness, and Recovery!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Game-Changing for Biohackers, Fitness, and Recovery! I’ve used nearly every fitness wearable out there, but the Ultrahuman Ring AIR is hands-down the best for anyone serious about tracking health, recovery, and performance. What sets this ring apart is the depth and clarity of its data. It gives me real-time feedback on HRV, sleep quality, skin temperature, and activity in a way that’s actually actionable. Since wearing the ring, I’ve learned exactly how my lifestyle (from hiking and strength training to my daily walks and even supplement timing!) affects my sleep and recovery. The sleep tracking is next-level. The ring doesn’t just tell me how long I slept—it breaks down deep, REM, light sleep, restlessness, temperature changes, and even my body’s recovery rhythm. I was shocked at how accurately it picked up on changes after a heavy workout or even a late night out, and it’s helped me dial in everything from caffeine timing to my bedtime routine. Since using the ring, my sleep scores have improved, and I wake up genuinely refreshed. I love how seamlessly the ring fits into my daily life—it’s light, comfortable, and doesn’t need constant charging. The app is user-friendly, visually stunning, and gives personalized recommendations I actually want to follow. What really sold me is how the Ultrahuman ecosystem ties everything together. It’s not just about steps or calories—it’s about truly understanding your body’s readiness, recovery, and how to push for better results without burning out. It’s helped me break a fat-loss plateau, optimize my training, and finally get those deep, restorative sleep cycles that every biohacker dreams of. If you want to level up your health, perform at your best, and unlock a new level of self-awareness, the Ultrahuman Ring is a must-have. I’m obsessed—and I can’t wait to keep smashing my goals with it. Sleep mask or not, this ring has already improved my life. Highly recommended!

Lovely ring, professional app, and very pleased with this purchase.
The ring came nicely packaged and was very easy to connect to the app. Only used it for 1 day and I am very impressed. The amount of data this thing can create and the analysis it does such as the caffine window for optimum time to have a coffee, sleep, movement and recovery scores are some of the many data sources the app populates. Very easy to use and since using it yesterday I have walked more than I normally wood. I have a Apple Watch Ultra, but this app is so much better it tracks when it knows you are moving around and gives you an option to track it, as the watch does not always pop up to suggest if you are doing a workout. The battery was a bit strange I fully charged it (the charging light went off after flashing) but the app said it was not fully charged. I contacted their support and they promptly sent the latest firmware update directly to the ring, just had to restart the app on my phone and it was then showing the correct batter percentage. Overall its brilliant so far, looks very slick, well built and very good value for money even though it is renewed, it looks perfect. Very happy with this purchase (with the free 2 year warranty extension too).

Good device, ok app, terrible battery life.
Good build and decent insights, although the age indicator is way off the mark and is clearly just based on your actual age +/- 3-4 years. But the main reason for the 2 stars is the battery life, I'm having to charge the ring 2-3 times a day, even on the days where I don't exercise. The ring is already in chill mode, background sync off and it's just dropping from 100 to 30% every 4-5 hours. I've had the ring for just over a year now so I expected some battery degradation, but it's almost at the point where it's unusual now. Maybe that's normal, it's the first smart ring I've ever owned, and obviously the battery is very small but I just expected more for the price point.

NOT RECOMMENDED – My Experience of the Ultrahuman Air Ring
I wanted to like the Ultrahuman Air Ring, but my experience over the last 12 months has been extremely disappointing. In total, I have had four rings within a year. Three failed due to battery issues, and the fourth lasted just four weeks before developing Bluetooth connectivity problems, making it unusable. This level of failure suggests a serious reliability and quality control issue. (only three in the photo as the fourth has now gone back to Amazon for a refund. What concerned me almost as much as the hardware failures was how the situation was handled. After the fourth failure, I was offered a second-hand refurbished ring as a “goodwill gesture”, despite the ongoing faults and the product clearly not being of satisfactory durability. This offer was made while my consumer rights were initially ignored. Only after I explicitly stated my UK consumer rights and insisted on a refund did the company eventually concede. While the concept of the ring is excellent and the data is useful when it works, a wearable at this price point should not require multiple replacements in a single year, nor should customers have to argue for basic consumer protections. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the Ultrahuman Air Ring due to poor durability and an unsatisfactory resolution process when things go wrong. I would also like to THANK Amazon for their levels of service.. they dealt with the refund in less than 2 minutes!!.. Stark contrast to Ultrahuman.. Thank you Amazon... Ian D

It's great
It works just fine, the customer service is excellent, size fits alright. The pregnancy mode doesn't really do much apart from telling me how far along I am and which stats can be different... and then the app tells me to pay attention to exactly those stats. Okay.
