Set of EIGHT Delphi Ignition Coils GN10164/DG508

These helped out a tired old 5.4 back to running smoothly as the previous owner though the mismatched 5 different brand ones were good enough. Best set for the money.

Replacing cheap Chinese garbage I ordered (all 8 coils $30) that are failing after a few months. Currently my truck bucks like a mechanical bull while driving. I just got these coils and was surprised how heavy the box was. These coils feel substantial compared to the cheap ones. Hopefully they will fix my issue and last a good while. I did a week of research before getting these. Delphi seams to be a great company with quality equal to or better than motor craft. Will update when I get these installed.Got them installed and now my truck runs great, found a spark plug well that had water in it which was likely the cause of my misfire issue, not the coils but I feel better having quality coils. If you find water in the plug wells of a 5.4 triton find the cause before installing new coils, in my case it’s a hood gasket that was letting rain water off the windshield drip onto the engine then into the #3 and 4 cylinder spark plug wells.

Coils came in nicely packed in boxes of 2. They look great as you expect from Delphi. I installed them in an '03 F-150 with the 2 Valve 5.4l. I normally replace coils as a set since I want to do the job only once. Part of the reason I went with Delphi parts, I have never had any issues with Delphi parts and I hope these coils will not be an exception. But imagine my disappointment when I saw "Made In CHINA" on the boxes. They are working, the misfire issue is resolved, but I am concerned about longevity and reliability of these parts. I guess we'll have to wait and see. Hope this helps.

These coils are very similar to OE ones and car runes smooth & soft, not as aggressive like msd and similar performance coils.

Best coils for the money. My son works for a place that makes wire harnesses and the majority of the electrical components that they use are Delphi. These matched the OEM perfectly and are worth the extra money versus the real cheap ones. No complaints at all.
