TIGERBEDS White 3ft Single Storage Ottoman Gas Lift Up Bed Frame

I was very wary about buying this bed having read a few negative reviews but for well under £100 you simply cannot go wrong. The price does not reflect the quality of the completed item. The packaging was good and not over the top. The bed was very easy to build despite some reviewers comments. All holes marry up perfectly and the fixings are of good chunky quality. The fiddliest bit was fitting the slats which was easy if just a little tedious. Nothing about the build was complicated or difficult with even basic DIY skills. The assembly took me an hour and a half and went without hitch. I had a few fixing left over and after double checking the instructions these must just have been extras - reading other feedback this has been reported before. The completed bed is very attractive and sturdy. I'm over 100kgs and it's very supportive. No twisting and all joints tight. The gas lift mechanism is strong a makes lifting the mattress a breeze. The storage space is huge and has completely swallowed all the junk in the room. Didn't bother fitting the fabric floor as I couldn't see any advantage. The finished bed looks a quality item. Everyone who has seen reckons it cost me 3 times what I paid. I have to say this is probably one my best Amazon purchases and believe me I order virtually everything via Amazon.

Great bed, great value, great service from company. We ordered this bed as we were moving and required more storage in our new space. The bed is comfortable, stable, easy to put together and instructions were clear and easy to follow. Lift mechanism works perfectly and there is a lot of space within the bed to store anything from bits you don't use often to items you're just not sure where to store. The bed was dispatched earlier than expected, but we contacted the company for clarification on delivery times and they were very helpful. It actually arrived at just the right time and we had a bed we could put together quickly and sleep on for our first night in our new home! Great value for money - bed feels nice, fabric is a bit soft which means you have to be careful if you move it around so it doesn't rip, but overall, very very happy. We were worried that it might look a little fake but actually, its quite subtle and works perfectly in our space. Would definitely buy again.

All in all this is a very good, solid bed. It was easy to put to together on my own, instructions were nice and easy to follow, was very easy to lift up and down from the get go and has plenty of space underneath for storage. There only complaint is the slats are of poor quality and I took some of the wood off whilst putting the parts together for the base. I would however definitely recommend this to someone as it's very good value and a fantastic bed :)

Fast delivery, easy to put together (need a second person to help hold sides in position) feels nice and sturdy, storage great though top end of bed I needed to store stuff I rarely use due to difficulty in reaching it otherwise masses of storage space. Velcro on bottom of base kept sticking to carpet when I was putting it together and putting the microfiber undersheet on was hard to do because of limited space in my bedroom wouldn't allow me to tip bed on its side. the feet that screw on was easy to do once I found the hole, if I did it again I would put the feet on before the attached the sides of the bed. Also when doing the frame for the slats there a plastic L shape to slot in place to attach to the sides, it would be easier to fix this onto the width bar first then slot onto the side bars. the light and dark that was referred to on other comments about the white cover is barely noticeable. The bed is lovely, just what I wanted and great value for money, you can't grumble at this good price

My daughter needed a new bed, and she wanted a black one. The bed is exactly what she wanted - and exactly as described. We were surprised at was how well packed it was - the 2 boxes it came in did not look large enough to contain the bed etc - but they were! It was easy to put up (it took two people around 40 minutes). They used an electric screwdriver which obviously made it quicker but it came with the tools necessary. The gas lift was stiff to close to start with but quickly became easier. The bed comes down in a controlled manner - slow, but not too slow. The floor is material so we decided we did not need it as the storage will be used mostly for books and we thought it would not be strong enough for that - so stuff will be stored directly on the floor.My daughter loves it. She says the headboard is comfy to lean against, because it is slightly padded. My husband said all she wanted was an "ordinary" bed, but this was not much more expensive (just over £100, including delivery) and she always needs more storage - he now says he told us this bed was exactly what she needed! We are thinking of converting another small room from an office to a bedroom and, if we do, we will seriously consider ordering another.Only very slight negative is the delivery company they use - it took 7 days from despatch to delivery - although this was within the estimated delivery date, it was at the very limit.To sum up, love the bed, love the price and would use the company again, just beware if you want it in a hurry!!!*** update - we ordered a second bed. It arrived much quicker and is just as good as the first one!
