As I learned some times after buying them, these thin walled glasses are made in Turkey, not in other words a country known for its whiskey. It is no surprise that so many buyers had instances of glass breakage, specially after they made the mistake of adding ice cubes to their fine scotch, smooth Irish, or rambunctious Kentuckian; granite cubes would probably make matters worse. I like my whisky neat and at room temperature, so this was unlikely to happen to me; those who enjoy it on the rocks should avoid these glasses. On the hand, they're great for vodka straight from the freezer, my favorite tipple deep in winter's stomach. But, really, I think they are best for Turkey's national drink, Raki, or any of its cousins from the Levant like Arak. At about 12oz in volume, they're just right Goldilocks.

We were worried, because both the exterior and interior boxes had been damaged and the plastic “airbags” were deflated, but the glasses were in perfect condition. They are beautifully crafted, light, and stylishly elegant crystal, befitting the classic Scotches my husband drinks.

I returned this product for a full refund. Was highly disappointed. The glasses came packed very elegantly. I looked forward to using them. When that time came, I placed a round molded ice cube in one (which fit nicely), placed it on the counter, turned to get my whiskey and the glass shattered.

For 30 bucks I expected something a little thicker! I don't really handle stuff with care so i hope these don't bump into something and break and for 30 bucks you should get 4 not two.

These glasses really expand the bouquet and taste of even cheap whisky.,

I really like this purchase. We've been using the glasses to drink a variety of single malt scotches and they are attractive and solid. I would highly recommend them.

I bought these glasses as a gift for my boyfriend for Christmas. I thought the light-weight feel and design was cool and different, but ended up being disappointed by them. After ONE use, my boyfriend filled his cup with ice, and the glass completely broke with a huge hole in the side. Bizarre that it didn't shatter, but overall not impressed with the quality.
