Even though the shoe size is accurate, the calf length of the actual sock is not very high. If your child wears high top cleats (especially the under armour football ones) you will not be able to see the #'s or sock over them. Otherwise my kiddo loved them and they did fit!

My son wore these for basketball season this year and they looked great on the team. Very well made, thick sock and they didn't seem to stink as badly as some socks he has worn after playing (he's one of those kids that can clear a room after removing his shoes) . Washed up well also. He's 10 and wears a 6 in boys if that helps anyone with sizing.
