Charges well under direct sunlight
Wanted to write an honest review after testing for a few days so others really know what they are getting.Under direct midday sunlight - slightly cloudy but the sun was coming through strongly (early spring) - I had an iPad and a large Lenovo tablet plugged into the two USB ports. They were both charging nicely. The Lenovo tablet went from 19% to 27% in about 30-40 minutes. The iPad from 34% to 44% in the same time.So basically if it’s sunny all day you can charge when you have STRONG DIRECT sunlight.Not sure about a clear evening day...Okay, so when the sky was overcast, it actually seemed to drain the battery on the Lenovo tablet. Additionally I’ve got a Huawei mobile broadband dongle (low power device) and behind the car windscreen on an overcast day it had it’s green light on to say it was charging then actually ran out whilst charging!! :SAnother problem is that a tablet stops and starts charging with the strength of the charge and that can cause the Screen to turn on and off.Note, when the bright* sunlight was continuously hitting the panels this didn’t happen.So I’m not going to speculate on other features, but for 1/3 of the price of the other ones even though it bulky and a ridiculous colour I’m happy with it :DHope this helps ;)

This works way better than I expected
While hiking on a sunny day in dartmoor, it fully charged 2 phones from flat, even while one was playing music, in a matter of a few hours, as well as this I also charged a power bank and other people’s phones throughout the day, genuinely amazing!

I have high hopes with HoHopes 21W Solar Charger. I LOVE IT!
When I open the Amazon packaging the box to the HoHope 21w Solar Charger was well presented. When I opened the box I was impressed with the packaging and I found silica gel sachets to keep moisture out and 4 keyring type hooks. These hooks are useful for hanging the solar charger in different positions.The HoHope solar chargers 3 solar panels are decent quality and uniform as I have inspected. Their is a little pouch that houses the dual USB sockets which have a multi protection system and premium microchips to prevent overvoltage! WOW!All of this is protected by a high quality hard wearing tough fabric that looks like it could handle the outdoor elements very well. As you can see from my gallery photos the fabric, the stitching around all the components are perfect.The HoHope is quite light weight and easy to carry around.When I unfolded in front of the sun light and plugged into my phone, the power red light comes on from the solar chargers dual socket terminal and then my phone's on charge!Today was quite sunny and my phone got decent charge in less than 1 hour!I love this solar charger and will be taking it everywhere with me.Thank you!

Works well even in awful conditions
Not had chance to use properly yet but did test it on Xmas day just gone and been a very cloudy and misty day I didn't expect mush but I did manage to produce 2000mah at 5v that day which was much more than I had expected given the conditions I had to test it in.

Only works in direct sunlight and at certain angles.
This is a well made product that works ok but not well enough for the UK, it does not charge when its overcast as the review says and it does work in direct sunlight but in the UK we don't get that many sunny days, so even though I wanted it to work to help me be more eco friendly, It just wasnt a viable solution for me.
