Does not seem to work the conventional way, in fact, for the air to go into the ball, you need to pull up rather than push down and takes a bit of elbow grease. The needle also moves, as it is not screwed on but held internally by the inner rubber. The positive thing is the 5 needles included

Bargain. Brilliant little pump comes with plenty of needles all in a nice little bag.

I picked up one of these as my wife and I play volleyball and soccer multiple times a week, and there are times we wish we had a pump. Well, now I just throw this in my gym bag and I always have a pump available whenever required! For around $10, this is a MUST HAVE for anyone who plays sports with balls that require to be pumped - this can be a life saver when you have a flat ball but want to play your sports!

My pump handle snapped after I attempted to inflate the first ball (a basketball). Not sure if I got a defective one or if they are all made this cheaply.

Got to pump up my sons basketball. Works great and easy to use. I like that it has a bag and extra pump heads to inflate a variety of things.
