Tried to post with 1 star and the review was blocked, and the price has increased from $21 to $27 since I attempted to review. Hope this saves the next person from wasting their money. Purchased mid June of 2022, product that arrived had expired December 2021. I love this brand of almond butter and we go through a lot. This was hard, dark and compacted. Very disappointed and my 1-star review was blocked.

Super Good Almond Butter
I love this so much. The jars are so large! You get a lot and...no sugar. That's the kicker right there that makes this product so good. Watch out... most almond butter are filled with sugar.

Runny and Messy
I like the fact that the only ingredient is almonds. That being said, I threw out the opened jar and donated the second to a food pantry. The problem with the Kirkland almond butter, and many almond butters, is the amount of oil added. Even after pouring off the half inch of oil sitting on top, it still has the consistency of a thick soup. Butter a rice cake, cookie or protein bar and it will run down the sides. A real messy product. Please don’t suggest refrigeration as compensation for a poor product.
