Not as expected
While there are many contemporary references to occurrences in Newton's life, this main reason I bought this book authored by one who actually knew him is overall disappointing. Other biographies I've read on him are much more enlightening, better written and enjoyable to read.

A very good read.
It is good that we have a copy of the history of Isaac Newton from a person who was his companion at times and a friend . I think other books written on the subject probably use this manuscript as a source for much information .
