I do buy ottled wter since well water will leave buildup inside very quickly. - the following is original review from 2018- I love this tea kettle! I cannot ever recall knowing someone with an electric tea kettle so I never thought of purchasing one . It sits out on the counter at all times since it is used daily by my family. I love the way it looks. The exterior is easily wiped down and the brushed steel does not have "finger print issues". I saw this brand on a Korean drama and although it's not the exact model they used, it definitely inspired the purchase. (Hyori's Bed & Breakfast). The water is hot in about 1-2 minutes, perfect hot temperature for our tea. It has helped drastically increase our tea drinking and reduce/almost eliminate sugary drinks my teens used to prefer.I keep peppermint tea bags, celestial seasoning zinger teas and other herbal array of teas handy by the kettle for our family & friends. Our water has a lot of calcium in it so I have had to use a dab of baking soda on wet cloth to scrub the inside about once a month.Although I would like to know where I could purchase more filters for the kettle spout, I have zero complaints. I even took it in to work when our access to hot water was down. The ladies loved it! And inspired them to get their own.

I love the fact that it automatically shuts off - i’ve Destroyed several kettles by boiling them dry because I have fallen asleep.I also like that it boils water for my coffee in 5 minutes and it keeps water hot for quite a while after it turns off. It is very nice that you can bring the pot straight to the table without dragging along an electrical cord behind you.

I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of this tea kettle. I am an avid tea drinker and use this kettle quite a bit. The sturdy quality, fast to heat and quiet heating operation has made this kettle very convenient for me. I also bought one for my daughter, another avid tea drinker who is quite impressed with the kettle as well.

According to the insert, "forever" means if you use it once a day it will last you 30 years ... hardly forever in my opinion. This kettle's predecessor was used 4 or 5 times a day and managed to last almost 3 years, so if this one does as well I guess I'll be OK with that.One disappointment is the water level guage, which is very small and is hiding under the handle so it is very hard to see - you might say useless. I knew that it did not have that big window on the side where you can watch the pretty blue light while the water boils, but I did not think how useful that was for being able to tell how full the kettle is -- so I will just have to pop the lid open to check it ... no big deal.Anyway, it heats the water - not sure if it is any faster than the last one, but it does the job I got it for.

Simplify your morning routine! I love that this cordless kettle boils water so quickly! No need to heat up your kitchen to boil a kettle on the stove during the hot summer months! I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend if you use a french press, pour over it, or like tea in the morning. Even though the water inside is boiling, the kettle remains safe to touch. There is even a built in permanent filter at the spout. I suspect this may come in handy with repeated use, as I have very hard water from the tap.

This kettle is nicely designed, heats quickly and is made with quality materials. I wish the water gauge were on the side instead of near the handle which makes it difficult to observe when filling the container, but it is not a big deal. I can always adjust the amount of water as desired.

Good cheap kettle. Great for making tea. I've had it about 6 months and use it daily. The only draw back, and it's a serious one, is that the stainless steel gets very hot when the water is boiled. I've touched the side by accident a few times and gotten hurt, not seriously burned or anything but definitely had to jerk my hand away.

I liked the size of the kettle. It is easy to clean. It has an attractive design. User friendly and it was worth buying. I often look forward to boiling water in it to make a cup of tea. I highly recommend it.
