a very versatile boat blind!
I have used this boat several times and I really like it. They sell a blind for it but I made my own. Your options are almost limitless if your willing to put in the work and get creative. I have paddled with this boat. wasn't easy but once I got going it was alright. I've used a 30 lb thrust trolling motor. In open water it works great. In current not so much. I plan on buying a mud motor for it I feel that setup would be optimal. They're a bunch of youtube videos out there of people doing it. looks awesome.

Good Little Boat, But it Will Work You
Most duck hunters don't mind hardships, but there are some considerations here. The boat is fairly heavy (85 pounds, unloaded without the blind cover and your gear inside). I can just barely horse the empty boat atop my Ford Escape by myself, but you really need a buddy to help. Also, even though it has wheels, don't plan on dragging it more than 50 yards if the ground is muddy. The wheels dig into soft ground and you wind up pulling it like a sled. You also need a sling to pull over your shoulders for longer distances. I have read that the boat holds big guys well. I am 6" 3" and weigh 260 and it is a bit cramped with my cold weather gear, motor, gun, shells and decoys. You can do it, but you're surrounded by stuff. The water comes almost to the point where the motor mount meets the body of the boat. It would be deeper if I used a trolling motor and battery. I have a lightweight, Skye 37CC 4 cycle outboard, which pushes it along fairly well with the correct trim adjustment, but this is not a boat to ride long distances and it shouldn't be thought of that way. It is difficult to use the tiller to steer the further back towards the stern you sit. I made a homemade seat to rest onto the rim about midway towards the bow. If you sit on the bottom of the boat, it is uncomfortable and awkward. The floor is thin and flexes. You feel the cold water and any obstacles you are gliding over. I suggest adding a homemade plywood floor for stability with some foam insulation so that your rear doesn't freeze. I did but it adds weight that must be pulled and carried. All and all, it is a little plastic boat that is really a blind that you can ride in.

Four Stars
Good well built product. Floor could be thicker but once on the water it is fine

Absolutely the best multipurpose duck blind for those serious seasoned hunters like myself. Easy to load and unload by yourself, no boat ramps, no trailer, and low priced for what you get. You can use it on water, on the edge of water, or out in a field. A must have for the serious hunters out there.

Beavertail has Issues
I would rate this a 2.5 out of 5. I use it for duck hunting in my 4 acre slough/marsh. It is extremely hard to paddle forward and especially to try to steer it, with the square front end. It needs a molded V in front as it just goes side to side when trying to paddle it. Additionally the wheels catch all of the vegetation and cover on the surface causing alot of drag, making it even more difficult to paddle out to set and retrieve the decoys. They should be made to be removed, as they are also very narrow and a small diameter so they just get stuck in the muck. The boat needs to be carried or dragged but with all your gear, is very heavy when you're wearing waders besides. Floor is very flimsy, no ribs for support, so I added a pressure treated plywood floor, but that adds more weight. It is fairly stable in the water, and I added a camo bag chair for comfort and to sit in while using a long push pole to manuever it around. I then bought a Stealth 1200 which is by far and away a way better designed skiff for duck hunting. Ten times more manueverable, with much better steering ability.Lastly Amazon said it was in stock and ready for immediate shipment, yet it took almost three weeks to receive, as their vendor sat on the shipment for 13 days before even shipping it. This is really a land blind, not a hunting skiff, as I had intended to use it for.Thank You, Rick

Exactly what I was looking for
Low profile and just as described. I haven't had a chance to take it on the water and/or hunt with it, so I will update my review in the future.

The shipping and product are great. The boat had a few dings. But at 6'1 and 235 the boat has more than enough room for me and gear
