Top Gear: 100 Fastest Cars Hardcover – 30 Sept. 2010

Bought for my 12 year old son who just won’t read books and the 5 star rating is actually from him. He used to be a fan of Top Gear and is interested in performance cars/ Fast and Furious type films, etc and he says there’s lots of interesting facts in it which seems to appeal to him more than fictional writing. I’ve even caught him reading it at bedtime without being forced to pick up a book so it’s a thumbs up from me!

Bought this as a birthday present for my 8 year old, who is mad mad on cars. He loves this book, and I do too!. Enough information on each car, but not overly wordy, a bit like top trumps, in that each page has a specific car with a number of brilliant pictures and some details of the specs etc. Pretty much up-to-date in terms of cars available. Well worth it if you know a car fan.

I bought this book as a Xmas present for an 8 year old child. He really loved it because of the beautiful pictures and stats for each car. I really liked it as the book had the usual Top Gear humour and contained an enormous amount of detail.It's not really the 100 fastest cars by the way...you'll find a few jokes in their too (like the Chevrolet Lacetti they used before in the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car).Highly recommended - I've already ordered it for someone else. Enjoy!

Ordered this book sunday evening and its arrived today, tuesday, great service from amazon once again! the book is a stocking filler for my 10 yr old son who is a big top gear fan. its a chunky little book, lots of stunning pics and facts but not too much boring stuff that he wont understand. it does say on the back cover "bbc childrens" and i know my 10 yr old will love this book. a cracking stocking filler!

Bought for an 11 year old boy. Also bought alongside Top Gears "Supercars" as a present. They are the same but different. This book contains some supercars but also some pretty standard road cars which you could expect to see any day of the week. It is laid out with some great pics, narrative and the all important key facts and figures. Just perfect for the boy who loves to regurgitate a 0~60mph value at the drop of a hat when a car drives past.

Well it was a present for my Nephew and out of all the presents he opened, this one lit his face up the most and he promptly started to look through it instead of opening the rest of his presents. At a glance it looked like a well put together book but my Nephews reaction is the reason for the 5 stars. It was for his 11th birthday.

Bought for my 5 year old who is really into cars right now and there is lots of useful information in this about each car although the book does not have any order of which is the fastest car, as in the faster car is not necessarily number 1

Of course my 6yr old twin boys love this book! I wanted a book that was more pictures than words. This is exactly that, but in a good way. You want to admire the machine, not be distracted by words. My toddler, Stormageddon, has since destroyed the book beyond repair. This only means I plan on purchasing a new copy. Great book! You may feel the urge to yell POWAAAAAA upon opening.

My 3 year old son is obsessed with cars, and loves to watch Top Gear with his Dad, so we bought this book for him. He loved it! Lots of pictures and very colorful! I've even seen my husband swipe the book to read it. I highly recommend this book for car lovers of any age!

Awesome book, I have bought about 3 so far for my son and as gifts. Every kid loves it. On one book the binding has come loose but dont know if this was due to rough child handling. The cars are not arranged as the fastest or most expensive etc. but just TopGears rating of how cool they are so the title could be a bit misleading.

Great buy! Just happy with the packaging and the book quality..My 9 yo car-geek nephew loved it totally!
