SpeckPresidio Clear Samsung Galaxy S9 Case, Clear/Clear

Ok, I've just had this case a couple of days, but so far I'm rather in love. I have ONLY used Otterbox Defender cases in the past, but given the size of the Galaxy S9+ I was nervous about that bulk fitting in my pocket. I was also VERY nervous about having solid protection and good grip in an alternative case. Why don't more people care about grip? Personally, I hate holding the naked phone, it is so heavy, fragile, and slippery, the darned phone simply wants to crash to the earth in a death plunge. And most other cases I've seen/tried seem to be almost as slippery as the naked phone, although at least with drop protection.Bottom line: This case feels solid, low-profile, and has excellent grip. It fits easily and comfortably in my pocket, and is easily retrieved but otherwise stays put. I just went for a bike ride with it in my pocket, completely secure the whole time.Also, we bought two of these cases for our phones. Both the original ones have cracked by now and are now replaced. By the way they both worked equally well, and cracked because we dropped them too many times and the phone was always super protected by the combination of glass cover and this excellent case. I really love this case!!! So much better experience than the overprotective and subsequently huge Otterbox cases I have always used before. This case is just protective enough while remaining sleek and beautiful, easily sliding in and out of my pocket even with this large phone, sitting pretty snugly on my leg in the car while driving, and 100% grip confidence while holding it (hmmm, so why have I dropped it so many times? I think just fumbling miscalculations or holding too many things like groceries AND the phone). LOVE this case, highly recommended.

Im the kinda person who drops my phone like at least twice a day. Ive bought this case so many times not because the case has broken, but because its the ONLY case that lasts me longer than a year. Ive had my phone for nearly six years now and this will be the 3rd of the same brand of case ive ordered since ive had the phone. Crazy durable, despite the fact that i am very hard on my appliances. Someone dropped a couch on my phone this past christmas and my old case finally, finally lost a small peice by the head phone jack, so i figured it was time for a replacement. This thing is me proof which means its truly idiot proof👍🏼

While the case is very durable and has the protection required, it is not crystal clear in the back. It's a little opaque and dulls the color of the back of your phone. Still great for the price point!

It seems like the phones and cases these days are made from a material that slips right through your hands. It doesn't help that I'm a C4 quadriplegic that has limited dexterity when it comes to holding onto things. Before getting a S9+, I had a S6 that lived in an Otterbox Defender that had a rubberized outer to protect against drops and it made it super easy to hold onto my phone.Fast forward to July of this year when I decided it was worth upgrading to a newer Samsung Galaxy smartphone. Just to get an idea of the size of the S9 and S9+, I tried holding both in my hand to get an idea which one I would like better. After "holding" each phone, I liked the S9+, but man was it hard for me to keep it from slipping out of my hand. I tried every case they had in the store to no avail, so time to search the internet and after searching for a grippy S9+ case, this case kept on coming up.So I ordered this case and man am I glad I did, compared to all the other cases I tried at the cell phone store this thing is a leap ahead of the rest. Granted it's not quite as stick as my old Otterbox Defender case on my S6, but compared to the rest of the market it makes a huge difference for me and I wasn't even willing to pick up my new S9+ until this case came in. lolAll in all it's a great case with great protection and a decent amount grip to keep it in your hand for all but greasiest of situations, then you pair it with a screen protector and you're all set for what life can throw at it.

This is a very sturdy case. It's a little thicker than the more flexible covers, so it makes it a little harder to push the buttons on the right side of the phone. However, I think the trade-off is well worth it to have a stronger case.

This is a quality case. My phone feels protected and tightly encased. Definitely worth the money to protect what have become a pretty expensive investment-- my phone! Te case fits perfectly, the buttons are protected but easy to press and I don't have problems with buttons being pressed when I don't intend to press them. Also, there is a raised rim around the screen-- you can place the phone face down without scratching the screen. The rubber rim also keeps the phone from slipping of the dashboard when I place the phone down in the car. I also like how the case maintains its clarity. I have had clear screens before, but for some reason, they turn cloudy. This one is made from something different. It seems sturdier and is maintaining its transparency. In all, great case. I like it.

This case isn't the prettiest but in terms of function it is the best one for my phone. This protects the phone and screen on all sides from fumbles and drops. Perfect case for me. The back of my phone is like a lilac colour so the gold sparkles do add some interest and pizzaz.It fits very snug to the phone and it's not really for people who like to change cases often. That is fine for me.The buttons line up perfectly and it's easy to clean. The gold colour is also smart because I have had the same case in just clear/colourless and the material will yellow and darken with time so this case maintains its look without that issue being so obvious. A few good slams will crack the case after about a year of use because the material will harden but it is still useful and it's so durable. I will purchase again.Update: I got another one. My phone, which is relatively old now, is still pristine inside of the case. I am so happy!

I have 3 kids 4 and under. My phone gets dropped on all types of surfaces, from all heights and all different angles about 6-10 times a day. Love these cases.

Und das passiert bei uns immer.Ich habe solche Angst, dass mein Telefon kaputt geht. 😐 Zumal die Rückseite meines Telefons aus Glas besteht .😃 Also habe ich diese Schutzhülle für mein Handy gekauft. In der Tat absorbiert es Stöße gut. Und sehr effektiv. 😊 Es besteht aus langlebigen und hochwertigen Materialien. 😣 Mein Handy ist vor ein paar Wochen aus etwa zwei Metern Höhe auf mich gefallen. Sehr erstaunlich, dass das Telefon den Unfall überstanden hat und diese Schutzhülle Stöße wunderbar absorbiert. Leider ist es der einzige Fehler. Es ist gelb geworden anstatt seiner hübschen transparenten Farbe. Ich finde den Preis ziemlich akzeptabel. 🤞 ✨ 😌 😌 😌 🔽

As an obsessive smartphone case consumer, I've tried dozens of cases with varying degrees of success. It was only recently that I crossed paths with the Speck Presidio case (on my iPhone 7 Plus), and since then it has become my go-to for all of my smartphones. Overall, this brilliant model checks all of the boxes as Speck truly put a lot of thought into this mighty case. It is robust with its strong rubber/plastic shell, and claims to be able to withstand a 10 ft drop. Though it is extremely protective, it's design keeps it attractive, complimentary, and keeps my new Galaxy S9 Plus looking slim and deadly. As someone who drops their phone a ton, what I appreciate most is its clever rubber grip design, as it has most definitely reduced the number of times my phone has slipped out of my clumsy paws. I also love the matte material used on its shell as it looks and feels smart and contemporary. Best of all, it doesn't attract any fingerprints so it always looks like it was just unboxed. On its face, the top and bottom bezels are raised enough to keep your screen from touching any surface, while keeping the sides protected just enough as to not cover the functionality and sleek look of the S9 Plus' curved edges.Overall, I really can't think of any cons to this wonderful little case as Speck truly has covered all of the most important aspects that go into a case that is both highly protective and easy on the eyes. If anything, I'd love a larger selection of colours as I believe there are only a handful of choices that I know of. (If you have a dark coloured smartphone, especially an all black model, go with the black Presidio as it really does look deadly.
