Don't bother. Save up and buy Rosetta Stone instead; you'll thank yourself later. Maybe get this as a supplement to that, because it's not going to be very useful for teaching you to actually speak Chinese, but makes a nice tool for review.

I was looking for CD's I can hear while driving, and this is perfect for that purpose. I especially like how they had 2 native Chinese speakers repeat each utterance with a crystal clear pronunciation and then an English translation follows. They even put a few seconds between each utterance so you can digest. Awesome!!!
