- LCD SCREEN BACKLIGHT: The TDS meter device is designed with a low-power backlight so it can be used in low light conditions. Simple Red and Green backlight colors indicate water quality so that you can quickly determine if water is safe to drink. There are many other similar ways to use this tester; hydroponics, aquariums, aquaponics, DWC, or any other application where water quality is important.
- NATIONAL STANDARDS: National standards adopted TDS figure 40 as a dividing line. The backlight turns green when the figure is below 40 indicating acceptable drinking water while the TDS meter turns to red backlight when the figure is over 40 noted as non-drinkable water. (Note: Testing water @ 77℉ provides the best accuracy.)
- MOST ACCURATE READERS & AUTOMATIC POWER SAVING: The TDS Tester has sensitive electrode sensor and premium titanium alloy probe to read accurate water quality levels. Unlike other TDS meter kits available, our professional TDS pen provides a more accurate ppm range from 0 to 9999. The more digits, the more accurate figure is. The TDS meter will shut itself down if you don’t use it for 2 minutes or more, saving battery life.
