Wonderful Read
Read it all in one day. I love Katherine Center and this story was exactly what I had hoped for when I preordered it ages ago. Made me cry, laugh, gasp and I finished the book with a smile on my face and a warm glow in my heart. Perfect.

Warm, witty and fun
This made me laugh and cry and I pretty much devoured it in one sitting. Emma was a wonderful lead character. A loving daughter and sister (🥰 her dad and Sylvie) and an excellent narrator. I loved her voice, she was funny, engaging, warm , full of heart in some very difficult circumstances and I got sucked into to her story straight away. Charlie was my favourite type of male character, incredibly frustrating at times but also wonderfully adorkable, vulnerable and relatable. I adored Emma and Charlie together. They had excellent chemistry, really good banter and I loved every moment we got to spend with them. A well deserved 5 ⭐️.

Not The Book For Me
Emma has been offered the job of her dreams, ghost writing a romantic comedy script with the legendary Charlie Yates. Except, Yates is a nightmare who doesn't believe in love and doesn't want her help...I did not enjoy this book at all. I couldn't stand Charlie, who was needlessly horrible to and about Emma constantly (and didn't grow as a person in the slightest). I also couldn't stand Emma, the wishy washy doormat. Nothing about them together was even remotely romantic. Not the book for me!

Funny, Full of Feels, and Delightful
Katherine Center is incapable of writing a bad book, I'm convinced. Except for a couple of weird sentences, this story was pure pleasure and evoked happy tears. Just like her other books. This author knows how to make you laugh and make you "feel." I wrote down so many great quotes, but in the interest of saving time I'll just pick one for this review."Whatever story you tell yourself about your life, that's the one that will be true."Highly recommend The Rom-Commers. It's right up their with my favourites: The Body Guard; and "Things You Save In A Fire."

LOVE this book!
Book came in perfect condition, and the pink lined pages were so fun (that was a surprise for me)!!The book itself is a delightful read, charming and funny, with just the right amount of serious and thought-provoking themes. This is my fourth read from Katherine Center, she is becoming one of my all-time favorite authors (check out Hello Stranger and The Bodyguard) ❤️For those (like me) who are picky with content - especially in romance books:It's clean - no smut, though it's talked about in a few places (as a metaphor, humorously lol), love this about the authorNot too much language (there are several f-bombs, but most of them happen within the first 50 pages or so, and as an exclamation, not literal)

My favourite romcom author!
She did it again! Another captivating, funny and sweet story! (and, I must say, all that without having to write unnecessary +18 scenes, as I'm seeing absolutely all romcom authors do these days).Katherine Center is my favourite author right now and I'm almost finishing it all her books, in english, even though it's no my first language (that's how much I like her books).Looking forward to her next book!

So much fun!
I love this story. It's touching, funny, surprising, super entertaining, romantic in the best way. This author get's better with each book, what is not easy, because she is great anyway and never repeats herself. I very much hope, this great book finds many many readers.

Ridiculously beautiful
What this reader likes about this author is that wonderful ability to connect with real life through her characters. The reader knows that fiction exists but the emotions, the frailties, the misunderstandings and the behaviours all have that touch of reality and it connects the reader to them and through them to the story.Thoroughly enjoyed the concepts of love and how our views on life can vary greatly from person to person and that this is not a bad thing is strongly brought home.Loved the simplicity of plot that held so many complex touches, loved the flow of the words, loved the beginning, the middle and the end. Highly recommend to lift the spirits.
