Tippitoes Junior Bed (White)

We brought this bed a while ago now for our 2 year old son at the time, its such a great buy very easy to build and very durable. He is now a big 3 year old who likes to jump about a lot and often find him jumping up and down on it and so far not a crack or creek anywhere. When he outgrows this which i dont think will be for a year or two yet it will be very easy to take down and put away for if we have another child. I have even got in with him when ill (around 11 1/2 stone) and take the weight fine although is rather short for an adult. If your looking for a toddlers bed look no further for the quality and price i would buy again no problem.

To start with I want to say, These are great beds for a toddler, cute, practical and well made for what they are.the reason I have put 3 stars is because I bought 2 ( I have twins its not a impairment where I just buy 2 of everything) Delivery was quick and the packaging looked great.When I opened the first one well see the picture, almost all the slats was loose or had fallen off but because I could I decided that I would refit the slats myself easy enough job I had some small tacks, much better than the cheap staple things that had been used, and a little wood glue and hey presto perfect, the 2nd one I opened was complete as described but after looking at how I had put the first one I did the same removed the slats and tacked them, I shouldn't have felt that I needed to make a repair on the product but I would recommend that if you can you do the same.After I had set them up they look great and the twins love them and feel very grown up.

A good, sturdy bed.Close to the ground so little one won't hurt himself.Solid construction - feels like it will last for number 2.Assembly was a bit of a chore- some pieces needed a bit of 'persuasion' to get into position. But overall well worth the money.Edited to add:Just dismantled so LO can move into a big bed.Has come apart beautifully and is still very sturdy.Is now in the loft waiting for number two to grow a bit.Edited June 2015 to add:Served toddler number two beautifully well. Now disassembled again and in the garage as a good friend is going to take it for her youngest. I am really impressed with how well it has stood up to repeated assembly and disassembly and to bouncy boys jumping all over it!

This junior bed is lovely - my 22 month old grandson can climb in and out quite happily without having far to reach for the floor so no worries about him hurting himself. I have removed one of the small guards and fitted a bed larger bed guard just for the time being so that he can't fall out during the night. As he gets a little old I can remove this and leave it as just a junior bed but for the time being don't want anything going bump in the night. Prompt delivery and really easy to assemble. Would recommend for transition from cot to BIG bed and looks like it will last we'll into the little one being about 4 or 5 so good value for money.

Got the bed, toddler really excited and nice looking bed, however finding that the locking nuts won't go in properly due to staples sticking out in the holes where you're supposed to insert them! I'm a DIY novice so not sure if there is a remedy for this but not making it easy to assemble. Will have to contact seller tomorrow. Disappointed.Update: OK, learnt a bit more about DIY in the process of assembling this bed! To save the hassle of returning it I tried again... Found that the problem could be corrected by either a pair of narrow pliers or (in my case) putting the nut into position and whacking it once with a hammer! I then used a screw driver to twist into the correct position. Worked a dream. Other than that a great bed.

These were for my twin grand-daughters who needed to be moved from cots to beds. We expected them to be up til all hours, as they tended to be in cots, and my daughter 'steeled' herself for some long bedtime sessions a la Supernanny. Both babes settled and went straight to sleep!!! They are obviously very comfortable, secure and happy in their new beds and my daughter is thrilled. I also bought the recommended mattresses and duvets, excellent on both counts. Beds easy to assemble buy sturdy enough for 2 little girls who love to 'play' when they wake up. As a doting Grandma I will be coming back when they need larger/bunk beds. Thank you. Delivery brilliant as well.

We have now had this bed for at least 8 months. My 4 year old is not always managing to stay in it due to the allure of our own bed rather than any issues with this one. So we occasionally need to put him back to bed, and also pretend to sleep next to him. Although the size of these beds make it almost impossible, this lovely bed has not broken even one slat. It is sturdy and smoothly made and very easy to put together. We would definitely reccommend.

This is such a gorgeous bed for my little girl. She absolutely loves it. I only wish the bed rail was a bit longer as it's no use nor ornament, really, we still had to get a Lindam Bed Rail (thanks, Amazon!) after she'd fallen out twice making me feel like a terrible mom!
