Our nephew loved this as a gift
Bought this for a nephew to teach him the basics of electricity (in a super safe environment). He got the hang of it very quickly and skipped most of the simpler exercises and moved quickly on to the harder ones. If young kids can grasp the concept of electrical wiring (and plumbing) at a young age then maybe they won’t be so reliant on expensive tradies in the future … or they may become an expensive tradie themselves!

Really engaging toy
My 7 and 9 year olds have really enjoyed playing with the toy from the moment they received it. I can see how it will grow with them too.

Excellent unique game!
Bought for my son for a gift for his 10th birthday. He loves games and science/gadgets so fingers crossed he likes this. Well packaged, really pleased. Will update once opened and played.

Didnt work - Terribly made internals
This was a terribly made product. Bought it for my son so he might get an understanding of some basic circuitry.Straight out of the box, it didn't work, done a continuity test across the power pack and it was an open line so decided to take it apart to fix it for him. Could not believe what I saw, if you look at the first photo you can see that the wire was just cut and was never terminated in the negative side of the power pack, so I soldered it to the tab and thought I was done. Still, no connection between them took apart the positive side and it was just as bad. If you look at the other photos it shows it, the wire was in there all alright, floating and connected to nothing, and a 22uF capacitor that was twisted and forced into a hole where it was supposed to be but was shorted across itself so wouldn't smooth out anything anyway if it was connected, and had no solder on either of the legs on it so was clearly just forced in with the wire never attached and sent out the door. Also, all of the pieces don't fit into the tray that comes with it either, they constantly pop out and break the circuit, and all of the LED's are overdriven with the amperage that goes through them, far too high at 25-26mA, they will die a quick death.Don't buy your kids this, it will make them HATE what you are trying to make fun for them.Actually embarrassing for a company that claims it was founded by a "mechanical engineer", apparently.

Great toy for mid-primary schoolers to older kids
My daughter loves that game, she's very interested in building things and loves lego's and puzzles, this game was a great present for her.

Don't buy, it fails quickly.
As others have said, it's a great idea but poorly made. The parts pop out continually when constructing and the green LED failed before we'd got to the end of the beginner cards and as it's American and made in China there is no support. Typically the LED failed outside the 30 day return window so Amazon no help. Don't buy it.

Massively overpriced
I really wanted my son to like this. Initially he seemed interested. We started off just building circuits to get the hang of it.The pieces don’t snap properly into the base. Constantly popping out when putting others in and breaking the contact. The markers on the pieces are difficult to read, so it’s easy to put the LED the one way round. The green LED doesn’t seem to work. Certainly didn’t using the layout on the front of the box.Not many pieces considering the price.
