Dear experienced gardeners: is this better than miracle gro seedling soil?

Dont use anything miracle gro ever is my advice. I bought some organic soil by miracle gro once and there were pieces of plastic in it. Yucky.

Should I use this alone or mix it with another soil.

Use it alone, it is perfectly blended for seedlings. The only alteration may to be adding perlite.

Doe water absorb into this soil when you water the new seeds ? Or is it so light & fluffy that it just bubbles on top & doesn't absorb into the soil ?

It did absorb the water. However we wet the soil and let it sit over night and then put the seeds in

What are all of the organic materials in this mix? Is it made with Bio Sludge?

I used this soil to start pepper seeds. I started and kept the seeds indoors, and all died. I pored the soil out of the starter kit and restarted the seeds with yard topsoil, and all the plants lived and are producing peppers. This soil is overpriced, and I did not have good luck with it. I will not recommend this soil.
