Not awg 18. Overheats at low loads

The core wire is too thin
The core wire of these are pathetically thin compared to other brands. They are supposed to be rated at 5A but with this thickness of wire, I wouldn’t trust them for 5A. As a consequence, I am not going to use them for my projects. See attached photo of difference in wire thickness compared to other brands (this brand is on the right)
