They are not "vintage like" or "vintage look". We use only the best of what we can source. However, since these pieces have all had a previous life they will show signs of use such as dings, scratches, imperfect tines, and pitting. If shiny new silverware is what you are after then these are not for you! Additionally, the style of the silverware in the image is an example only and you may not receive the same exact pattern of the spoon - pattern designs vary! Hand stamping is a process where each letter is individually stamped into the metal. Each letter may not line up perfectly and some letters may be deeper than the others. This is not to be considered a defect and adds to the charm of each piece. This process is much deeper than engraving.
