Bit bigger - quite a bit bigger. Would be good for kids where there is a concern of swallowing pieces or for older adults maybe with arthritis with less dexterity in their hands

I had bought the smaller version of this for my autistic son - loved it. This arrived and he was very pleased with it. However, I cannot begin to describe how desperately fragile this toy is. The plastic connector between the links breaks in two rather than pops apart - it lasted a couple of minutes of play. He was not rough with it, it just isn't fit for the target age group.EDIT and upgrading by one star. It is possible to remove damaged sections by pulling the offending section out - a bit of effort needed and pull at right angles or will snap the joint. I still wouldn't recommend this item as with a bit of design/material science it could snap apart without the "ball" part of the "ball and socket" joint breaking and this can easily be solved by the manufacture as other toys are designed around this weakness.

This is a very useful aid to calming and occupying people with dementia. It is a comforter.

Different textures, size and colours make this a great fidget toy.
