I got it for my PSA Dagger with an optic mounted. much nicer to rack the slide without messing with the optic. I built this gun for home defense, so I really like anything that makes it faster and easier to load one in the chamber. very cool, very sturdy. nicely done guys! highly recommend if you like your AR charging handle, this kind of duplicates the feel for your pistol.

This is a great product! My wife needed a slide racker type solution for her Glock 19 as she was having trouble consistently racking the slide, struggling with a weak grip. This completely solved her problem and she loves it. This item is lightweight yet really stout. It seems the perfect blend of function (extra grip surface) and still streamlined enough to not get in the way. In fact this is the BEST slide racker solution I have come across and will likely buy another one for my Glock even though I don't have any issues gripping the slide - it's just really functional. Installs easily by simply replacing the slide back plate.

One thing up front is this device may not be the best attachment for a pistol carried IWB, *as delivered*. It does have rather protruding, somewhat prominent edges (some describe it as sharp). However, it is the perfect form for you to custom contour it to your liking. I know that might sound odd, but I'd rather have more metal and have to remove some, than not enough, because you certainly can't add any. I wound up using a single cut mill file to file and round it substantially to my liking, but in the end I have a slide cocking assist that works for me. Being aluminum, it files easily. Now that will remove the black anodizing on the areas being filed, but you have the option of either leaving it that way or purchasing an aluminum blackening solution to restore the color. The fit to slide is absolutely perfect. They could not have machined it more precisely. There is no free wiggle or looseness when installed. It locks in place just as positively as the OEM Glock slide plate. Someone in another review said it doesn't work with Gen 5, but that's not true since I installed it on a Gen 5 G26 with zero fit issues. The Gen 5's have the nDLC finish and it slick as greased goose do-do. If your hands are the least bit sweaty you just can't get a good grip on the slide, even with its slide serrations. This rack assist add-on eliminates that problem.

Works exactly as intended—but let’s be honest, you’re not buying it just for function. This thing makes your slide thicc. It turns heads, silences range banter, and makes even the straightest of men question everything when they see you rack it with confidence. Fitment was solid, install was easy, and the ego boost? Immeasurable. 10/10 would flex again.

I have tried several slide rackers for my new G44 (which has part similarity or even identical to Gen5 G19) and the Milspin Slide Racker comes out on top of the list. Although several actually replace the slide cover back plate, more often than not, they had edges that were too sharp...and "deburring" them removed the paint. Another top contender didn't replace the cover back plate but just fit over the rear of the slide and was fastened by two tiny screw/nuts; a very good racker, but had to be removed each time when the striker needed change or cleaning. The Milspin Slide Racker IS the cover back plate - has sufficient surface to accomplish the racking, but no sharp edges. If the striker needed cleaning - the Milspin Slide Racker had to be removed anyway...and no additional special tools required, and no lost tiny nuts. Additionally, it doesn't interfere with the performance of the Glock G44 where slide weight is so important for its operation.

Works really well and for me, a much needed application to my weapon.

I've had 2 Glock pistols for a long time now, a 19 and a 27. As I have aged, I've noticed that as my arthritis progressed, it becam harder and harder to rack the slides, to the point where I decided to try one of the slide racking aids. I ordered the Milspin Racker Jacker, with some reservations. I just wasn't sure it would work well enough. But it certainly does. I can rack the slides like i did 10 years ago! They were easy to install, although I recommend you watch a YouTube tutorial first and on some of the older models you have to install it without fully removing the slide, as the clearance on the device won't allow you to replace the slide if you fully remove it. That said, like most everything you buy online these days, there were zero instructions, only a support website that had no mention of the product anywhere. I'm sure they would have been happy to help if you called, but they should be proud enough of this product to give it a mention. Too good for anything but 5 stars, even with, you're on your own instructions.
