Waterproof Bluetooth for Swimmers Finally Bluetooth audio has been designed for swimmers. All the wonderful streaming options available on your smartphone: Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Youtube, Soundcloud, etc. can now be beamed directly to your headphones while you swim. A powerful 8.5 inch Bluetooth antenna stays above the water and ensures a solid connection as you freestyle, breaststroke, kickboard and butterfly across the pool. Control Your Phone From the Pool The Waterproof Bluetooth Streamer has all the controls you need to toggle through your playlist and get the volume just right. Secure inside your swim bag, your smartphone can receive commands from the Waterproof streamer up to 50 yards away, no need to handle the phone with wet hands. FAQ Does this work underwater? The audio will stream clearly as long as the tip of the antenna is above water. If the antenna finds itself underwater during a flip turn or similar maneuver the audio will momentarily go silent. As soon as the antenna tip breaches the surface of the water the audio will seamlessly kick back in. What streaming services does this work with? All of them. The Waterfi Bluetooth Swim Kit allows you to listen to any of the audio you enjoy on your phone, beamed up to 50 yards away while you swim in the pool. Does my smartphone need to be poolside? The powerful Bluetooth antenna will receive a signal from your phone up to 50 yards away. The phone will need to be around the pool area, but it can be safely stored far from the water in a swim bag and still clearly stream.

Bluetooth swim headphones that actually work
Bluetooth headphones are great for working out, but if you’ve ever tried to swim with other waterproof headphones before, you know that as soon as they are half an inch under water, the signal cuts out. That makes them effectively useless for swimming, unless you never put your head in the water. With these, the antenna stays above the water, so your signal stays uninterrupted. I leave my phone at one end of the pool, and there is plenty of signal strength to cover the entire length of the lane. It’s also really nice to be able to listen to podcasts, streaming music, Audible, etc. Other swim kits that I’ve looked at only let you load up MP3s or listen to the radio. These give you much more flexibility and are really easy to use.Lastly, the headphones have good audio quality and come with four different earplugs, so you can select the right size to keep water out of your ears.

Crystal-clear sound quality - AND how to use in conjunction with a training snorkel!
First of all, this is an excellent device for listening to music & podcasts underwater. I was skeptical at first, expecting at best that music would be staticky, and at worst that the antenna wouldn't function while swimming. I was pleasantly surprised that the sound quality was crystal-clear.That said, I want to point out that this bluetooth antenna is an excellent companion to this training snorkel: FINIS Original Swimmers Snorkel . In the attached photos, I zip-tied the antenna to the snorkel, which ensures that the antenna stays above water (the snorkel needs to be above water anyway). l'm able to listen to music & podcasts while I swim, all streaming via bluetooth from my smartphone that sits poolside, and can focus on my technique instead of my breathing.

Product works as advertised....Fantastic to have a streaming waterproof music player!
Product worked great and as advertised...I put my phone at one end of the pool and it worked without issue for the entire length of the pool while doing the freestyle stroke. I had to switch from running to swimming due to injury and was getting really bored swimming laps without music. I'm super excited to have an audio player that I can stream from my phone in the pool. I did a TON of research, and found a lot of MP3 players (where you have to plan ahead the music you want to listen to and proactively load that music), and found waterproof phone cases (which makes me nervous to bring my phone into the pool!) But this was the only product that allowed for steaming from a phone (and works the entire pool length) since blue tooth frequency will not penetrate water. I read some reviews that talked about the music "cutting out" when it got wet, I did not find that at all and I didn't alter my stroke or breathing either. Product works great!

This product just isn't really water proof.
Customer service was great, but this product just doesn't work. We purchased this device for a marathon swim around Key West. It failed after just three hours of pool training. The company was awesome enough to send us a brand new one in time for the event. However, that one also failed after just (exactly) three hours in the water again. It was a good thing that I had my backup waterproof iPod, which hasn't failed in over two years of use. Disappointing, because when it DID work, this device had superior sound quality, but I don't think it's a coincidence that consecutive devices failed after just three hours in the water. Again, they refunded us with no trouble, so customer service is no issue at all....just the product.

Swim Laps to Music!
This is exactly what I was looking for. Made a playlist of my favorite songs on Spotify, linked device to my iphone, hit the pool, and did laps for ONE HOUR. Perfect sound, fit comfortably, easy to use.

Works as adverstised
So far, loving it...I get to listen to Pandora while swimming! Sounds is great (except when the antenna is submerged and there is no signal...but hey, it's bluetooth). Battery life is excellent (compared to my iPod shuffle), and easy to use.

Totally solved the bored swimming problem.

Good as far as it goes
I love having water in the pool; I just wish it had a longer range. It has a range of only 1/2 the length of the pool.
