"I claim to be a simple individual liable to err like any other fellow mortal"
1) Why I chose this book : Wanting to understand the man in his own words2) Any course language present : None noted tho I do wonder of Gandhi's remark "I feel stronger for confession." (Wonder what he would possibly have to confess?)3) Type of book : Short book of famous quotes4) Formatting/Editing : Straight-forward5) Best/Worst aspect of book : For a great man he comes across as very humble and an average joe6) Favorite passage : "I have nothing new to teach the world" (Made my head spin considering who said it)7) Bottom-line : Found the collection of passages to be interesting so have to say I did like it

Collection of Gandhi quotes that just might get you thinking
Some are quotes you've heard before, others were new to me (I have read very little on Gandhi) but made for a nice quick introduction to his thinking. It kind of felt like his most powerful, and most often requoted quotes were up front, and towards the middle were the less powerful ones, or quotes that sometimes felt like a similar approach to a theme already covered. If the quotes were organized specifically by theme O think a few might feel redundant, part of that is his strong position on non-violence and faith. Two favorites were: “An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind.” & “It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver.”
