Adobe InDesign CS6 Digital Classroom

I purchased this InDesign CS6 training book based on other favorable comments and I do not regret my decision at all. This book is excellent and the training videos are very easy to follow and very informative and useful. While the training videos are also available online, I recommend copying the videos to your computer for uninterrupted and easier viewing; I have experienced some "video not available" warnings and delayed downloading while trying to watch the videos online. While I do have some experience with InDesign CS6, I still found this book very informative, useful, and will be a great reference book for current and future use.

Good book, but as with all such, there is always more to learn that could not be fit in it.

I purchased this book for a class and have been returning to it whenever I use InDesign as a reference - I don't it regularly which is why I'm glad I still have the book! The book is also good for later versions, though you have much more functionality with later versions.

This line of books is better and cheaper than going to a school of design. Although it will not completely replace the class room and a teacher with years of knowledge, it does cover the basics and starts you down the right road for using Adobes products.

Delivered early but was stuffed inside my mailbox CD was cracked. Pages 333-364 were missing page header and footer.

No manual can make up for Adobe's truly lousy gui, but this one at least attempts to. Biggest short coming is lack of illustrated command trees to help find that elusive function that I absolutely need RIGHT NOW!

No time or funds for a real class, but this has helped me get up and running. I will be using it more, but so far it seems like a good investment.

Excellent book

I have not completed the book yet but so far it's very well written. The instructions are clear and detailed. It's possible to learn the basics of InDesign purely from this book without any external help at all.Recommended for anyone looking to pick up InDesign.

ITS OKAY ONCE YOU GET THE CORRECT BOOK. & (NOT INDESIGN CC AS WHAT I KEPT GETTING)

Just started using this book! Already loving it so far. Lots of exercises and videos to help get started.
