BarLuxe Staxx Collection 10 Ounce Tritan Rocks Bar Glass, Set of 6

My husband and I had each gotten an unbreakable pint glass at a beer festival we went to. Turns out those glasses were great for taking on vacation and being able to drink beer out of a pint glass instead of a bottle/can in the hotel room, etc. - and no worries about glass breaking during travel or otherwise. I dropped one of the beer fest glasses after washing it at home and the edge chipped. I was really bummed. Chipped edge = not a fun drinking experience. We haven't been able to get back to that yearly festival for more of those glasses, so I searched Amazon for something similar. These are what I settled on and I love them. This is a set of 6, so if one happens to chip, I have replacements, but these are sturdier than the beer fest ones, so I don't see any chipping likely. These are great not just for travel, but also for backyard cookouts - having several means the whole family can use them, and no worries about broken glass if someone drops it or knocks it over (although some may say the bigger crime is spilling the beer). Still, with kids around, you don't want to deal with broken glass. I'm really happy I found this set.

The only problem they have is after washing them with dish washer, the scratches appeared on the surface of glass. I use gel detergent in my washer, so I don't think the reason is the washer. Rverything else was perfect!

initially i was frustrated these are plastic glasses, and the listing did not disclose that. it's high quality plastic, but not glass. after contacting the company, they changed their listing to make it clear to shoppers that it's high quality plastic. since i respect companies who respond to customer feedback, i have modified my review and increased to 4 stars to clarify that for shoppers looking for plastic glasses it's good stuff - that's just not what i was looking for.=========== original review below ===========if they're plastic, just say they're plastic - don't masquerade as glass and waste my time having to return them. using terms like "copolyester" is deliberate obfuscation.

Gave this as a gift and the recipients love that it won't break if it accidentally falls on the ground. Would purchase this and others like it from BarLuxe!

I love these glasses, I have at home and people are impressed this is not glass. I use them very often and put in the dishwasher, they keep the transparency and do not scratch!

These glasses are a good size and survive the dishwasher amazingly!The whole family loves them! Great for patio use also ,as they don't break.
