Probably does do what it is designed for but not suitable for my requirements, and will be returned.Also: by comparison with other somewhat similar products, it is quite expensive (though that's not my reason for returning it)

Unfortunately it would not fit the chair it was wanted for so have returned successfully. Item appeared very well made though.
