I had to finagle it a bit but it worked.
I have a Crock Stick sharpener and white (fine) ceramic rods for it. I wanted some rough sticks too so bought these pink ones, but discovered the rough sticks are just a tiny bit thicker than the white rods and so won't fit in the holes in the base. I used a drill and enlarged the holes slightly so the pink rods will fit, and I can still use the white rods in the base. My sharpener is more than 25 years old so maybe newer kits use the larger rods automatically. Anyway, in a nutshell, the pink rods perform well and the seller got them to me on-time.

Just what I needed
I've only had the fine (white colored) 2 sticks in my "Crock Stick" sharpener for years. FINALLY got around to adding these - WHAT A DIFFERENCE. They were just a bit thicker than the fine ones so I had to enlarge the holes a little.

Mine were not flat.
I liked the coarseness but they are not flat. Rolled it on counter and it wobbled fair amount. Not able to get as good edge as the one it replaced.
